– Arrival at Mayyun Island
It was a pitch-black night; no moon glimmered in the sky, and not a single star offered guidance. Sheikh Bakathir set out with his men, accompanied by Abu Malik, the Houthi leader, and his group, all packed into their small sea boats. They cut through the narrow passages between the rocks with the skill of seasoned fishermen who know the sea as well as they know their own breath.
The boats moved with calculated speed, hidden from the eyes of watchers and lurking enemies, weaving through the shadows like ghosts that knew their path well. It took barely half an hour before Mayyun Island emerged before them—silent, dark, yet the long-awaited breathing space their plan depended on.
