"You magically captivated my mind, body, and soul." -Unknown   Grace Roberts' PoV: The man who stood across me was the pure definition of handsome. From his man-bun to his bulky figure that could be made out even through his shirt. His silver eyes shone like a diamond in the dimly lit parking lot. A smile appeared on his perfectly chiseled face and a dent formed in the muscles beside his lips. I felt a shiver went down my spine as I took in his attractive features. It should be a sin to be this hot. His hand moved to rub his stubble jaw gently, as he continued to fix me with his piercing gaze. I felt my body moving on its own and I took shaky steps to him. What is happening to me? I should be out of here, this man's an intruder yet I am still drawn to him. Why?  "Hello, Cupid. As fun as it was, finding your escape route I should apologize for intruding." So he's one of those, attractive but an as*. If his eyes weren't watching me with such intensity, I would put him in place. Beside me, Rowan cleared his throat. "Who are you and how did you get here?" he said defensively. The handsome and mysterious stranger c****d his head to the side, "I'll answer only to The Cupid here. I didn't come all the way here for the silent treatment." much like his aura, his voice changed intimidating within seconds. The way Rowan shut up showed what effect he had on others. "It's okay Rowan. Can you give us a minute?" he glanced at me hesitantly, and I nodded. He went back to sit in the car meanwhile, I walked forward closer to the devilishly handsome stranger. "Yes?" I said coming to a halt just a few steps away from him. He lowered his gaze at me, studying me under his gaze. "Is that all I get? A yes?" he said, his voice awaking an unknown feeling in me.  I swear if he was any closer, I'd easily get intimidated by them. "Have you been following me?" his expression eased, by my words.  "Yes," I was about to open my mouth to give him a piece of my mind when he interrupted. "I need your help." I stopped, stared at him for a while then nodded. "How?" Let's just get this over with. "My fiancee ran away, and I can't move on." he blurted out almost immediately. I gave him a look over and raised an eyebrow. "She left you?" I said emphasizing the last word. Trust me, a 'can't settle down' or 'secretly cheating on my partner' would have felt reasonable coming from him but this... I can't get my eyes off him, and his partner ran away? Okay, it is a lot to take in. He looked at me, almost eyes wide. Maybe he's scared about what will I think of him? Poor him. "If you need a session, you could've just placed an appointment," I said, not seeing the reason why he followed me all the way here. Guess, I'll ask Finn to find another way or up the security of this passage. Thank God, he didn't hear my name or saw my face or else it would have been bad.  "No, It would have taken time which I don't have." I narrowed my eyes at him. Is he delusional?  He took a few steps closer until a scar underneath his eyes was visible to me. I felt my heartbeat slightly fasten, having him stand this close. The smell of his musky cologne hit my nose and I took in a deep breath. What is this man? and how could his fiancée leave him, a man this breathtaking? but, it's not all about looks. He was taller than me, and his figure towered over me as he waited for my reply. As for me, I was breathing heavily. For a moment, my gaze flickered over his lips but I quickly reverted my gaze.  What is happening to me? It's been only 5 minutes since I met him and I am already losing control. "Look, it takes more than just 'my fiancee ran away and I can't move on' to help you." I internally rolled my eyes, he had an attitude problem and it already showed. "And I am in urgency so, get an appointment. Till then,"  I saw a swirl of emotion in his eyes, ranging from anger to cockiness but his posture showed no evidence of it. I felt my breath hitch, as he began to close in on me stopping just a few inches away. His eyes seemed different from this close, they looked brighter like a diamond shining among the dirt. Every feature of his face was visible, and I bet there wasn't a single flaw except the scar which for some reason felt nothing like a flaw. I watched intently, as his gaze scraped over my mask down to my lips and my heart leaped. "We'll meet again, Cupid." and before my eyes could adjust, he was already walking out from where the parking lot connected to the road.
