The Vlogger's Mischief

Chapter 3

When I woke up this morning, around 7:30 am I think? I just don’t know kung bakit, pero I feel a little bit sleepy even if 10:00 pm na kami na tulog, maybe it's because of that music box I just couldn’t sleep much thinking about it. I feel drawn to it for some reason, hayyst I’ll just stop thinking about it muna, and wake up Rose na lang.

I went to look beside me and saw Rose already awake and is now playing with our equipment. I was just about to greet her when my phone rang.

‘’ Huh? Sino ba to?” sabi ko tapos sinagot ang tawag

“Hello?” I asked

“Hey Ree! Good Morning” someone said

“who is this again?” I continued to asked. Tapos narinig ko ang tawa niya and for some reason hindi ako nainis

“HAHAHA! You forgot about me already? It’s Nick! Hahaaha I just called you to tell you that we will leave in 8:30 AM. Pffft” sabi niya habang nagpipigil nang kanyang tawa and I was embarrassed of course

“ hehe. I’m sorry I just woke up kasi” sabi ko para matabunan ang hiya

“It’s fine. pffft so, see you?” he said trying not hard to laugh

“Sure Can we meet you, outside Sand Hotel?” I said

“Sure no worries, bye beautiful stay safe” he added then ended the call as I was about to say

“Wha-wha—” hayyst si Nick talaga

I still haven’t moved on from our conversation when Rose barged in with a complete get-up already.

“What are you doing Rose? Why are you dressed up like that”.

“Did you forget Ree? Or are you still disoriented or what if? Hala! Baka naman kasi may hinahabol ka na tikman. Charot lang! Haha!” Rose teased as she looked at me with a mischievous smile.

“Walang ganun! Nagising lang ako ng medyo late. Ano ba kasi yung suot mo? Parang may pupuntahan tayo na malayo.” I said, trying to divert the topic.

“Hahaha! Ikaw talaga, Ree! Oo nga, may pupuntahan tayo. Sabi ni Nick, we're meeting him outside Sand Hotel at 8:30 AM. Tara na, bilisan na natin!” she replied.

We hurriedly got ready, and I changed into a flowy maxi dress, a hat, and sunglasses for the day's adventure. We met Nick outside the hotel, and he greeted us with a friendly smile.

“Good morning, ladies! Ready for our Egyptian adventure?” Nick said excitedly.

“Absolutely! We're looking forward to exploring Egypt with you,” I replied with a smile.

We hopped into his car, and Nick started taking us to different tourist spots around Egypt. As we explored the pyramids, temples, and museums, Nick shared fascinating stories and historical facts about each location. It was truly an incredible experience, and we couldn't help but capture everything with our vlogging equipment.

During the tour, we also encountered some local vendors selling souvenirs. I decided to vlog our souvenir shopping spree, showcasing the unique items we found, except for the mysterious music box.

As we continued our adventure, Nick suggested visiting a less-known temple off the usual tourist track. He explained that not many people knew about it, making it a perfect spot for our vlog to showcase a hidden gem of Egypt.

Upon reaching the temple, we were awestruck by its beauty. The intricate carvings and the peaceful aura made it a unique find. We explored every nook and cranny, capturing the details on our camera.

As I walked around the temple, I felt an odd sensation, as if I had been here before. It was a strange feeling, but I shrugged it off, thinking it must be the effect of the place's rich history.

At lunchtime, Nick took us to a local restaurant to try some authentic Egyptian cuisine. We indulged in delicious dishes like koshari, falafel, and various grilled meats. We made sure to document the entire food experience for our vlog, hoping to share the tastes of Egypt with our viewers.

Throughout the day, Nick and I started to get along well. We shared stories, laughed at each other's jokes, and exchanged experiences from our respective vlogging journeys. Rose couldn't help but tease me, but I just laughed it off. There was no denying that Nick had a friendly and charming personality.

As the sun began to set, we decided to wrap up our adventure for the day. Nick dropped us off at our hotel, and we thanked him for an amazing day. He said he would meet us again the next day to continue our Egyptian exploration.

Back in our room, Rose and I prepared to edit the vlog footage and plan for the next day's adventure. I couldn't shake off the strange feeling I had at the temple earlier. The mysterious music box also crossed my mind again, but I decided to keep it to myself for now.

As the night went on, I tried to brush off my thoughts and focus on the exciting journey we had ahead of us. Little did I know that more surprises and mysteries were about to unfold on our vlogging adventure in Egypt.
