I'm pacing back and forth for what feels like hours, this is not happening I do not have a mate I can't have a mate. I feel like crying 'lilac you know we can't' I speak through the mind link 'why not, this could be good for us' 'no-no and no, absolutely not we are leaving' I say without discussion's cutting off the mind link. I mind link 'Scarlett where are you' no reply.. 'Scarlett' I say again 'i'm coming one second from opening the door' I sigh in relief, the door opens and I see her confused expression "are you okay" Scarlett says "no, I have to go" I walk to my bag and start packing all of my belongings "you want to leave when we just got here" she says with a sad expression "Scarlett you know I can't" I say while going into the bathroom "okay I'm coming with you" I look at her standing In the doorway "you don't have to, you have your mate here" she frowns "I don't care, your my sister we are all each other have left" I feel tears run down my face "I wish I could stay but I just.. can't right now" I sit on the bed "lets pack and get out of here," Scarlett says with a motivated face. 

we wait until nightfall to make our second escape of the week, with our little backpacks we are walking out of the hotel room and making our way to the streets of the city. we go from walking to running as soon as we hit the forest, I feel the air flowing past me but for a split second, I sensed other wolves coming towards us. "SHIFT" I yell at Scarlett and we both shift simultaneously 'run as fast as you can lilac' 'okay' she whimpers, we run straight for the border but I hear the pounding sound of multiple wolves running after us and the howling to tell us to stop but we don't. the break of the border ignites my body and I run faster so does Scarlett, we running again with nowhere to go but its for the best I can't be left again so ill leave.

the wolves stop following us after half an hour, so we slow down but keep jogging, we need to create a game plan if we want to survive out on our own. I shift to human form and put on some clothes when I see a cabin a few meters away, Scarlett shifts and does the same as me. we both look at each other with suspicion but slowly walk to the cabin, once I get to the door I knock once to see if anyone would answer but no such luck "should we just go in" Scarlett says shrugging “yeah what’s the worst that could happen”. Walking through the door it Creeks loudly, if anything was here they knew we were here now “god be quiet Avani” Scarlett whisper screams “ooo what’s going to happen” I giggle. The furniture looks new and it’s odd because the place has a very old and abandoned look and smell “ do you hear that” I asked, “yes what the hell“ she cuts her self off when an old woman appears in front of us with a strange smile “uh let me guess” she speaks with a cold voice “werewolves” I frown confused “how do you know that” I asked the woman “just a feeling” she smiles “we are sorry for coming in unannounced” Scarlett apologised, “no problem my dear, I feel like we have some talking to do though” she talks as if she’s known us ‘is it just me or is she giving off a weird vibe’ lilac speaks in my mind ‘yeah I agree but I’m interested’ shitting off the mind link I speak once again “ all ears” I say with a smile. It’s been hours and we are sitting on the couch with this strange woman who feels so familiar, speaking about our lives and she doesn’t even seem fazed “I do have a question, why do I feel so familiar with you” I asked with suspicion “ I was wondering when you would bring that up” she says “ well you do know me and I know you” wow what. “I knew your mother,” say explains “hold up you knew our mother, I- I don’t even remember her,” Scarlett asks, the woman has a sad smile on her face and grabs our hands. I  feel a connection form straight away “how did you know our mother” I speak softly “ okay, my name is Lola and I knew you mother when I used to be the witch for you her pack” what, how is this possible, why did we randomly come to someone who was so close to our family’s cabin “ YOUR A WITCH” scar screams “ I knew it” she speaks again, I laugh at her childishness “wow this is amazing I can’t believe we managed to meet you and here and now it’s like the moon goddess wanted us to meet you”. 

It’s been 3 days and scar, me and Lola have been getting to know each other and it feels amazing having someone so close to family after all the years of wanting to end it all. It makes me see a new view on life and it’s amazing, I know Scarlett has been sad as well as happy I know she wants her mate and I wish I could have been the bigger person for her and let her be happy. Lola calls us over to the kitchen for some coffee, “okay girls, we have had the time to talk but know it’s time to train” she explains with a strict voice “what do you mean train” scar laughs “ this isn’t fate, I brought you both here for a reason” I look at her surprised “oh you can do that” I ask “ well yes perks of a strong old witch” she laughs “okay so why are you wanting us to train” scar asked with a questionable look “because you two are not ordinary wolves”.
