Gerek's Pov
Just as promised, I went to check on her as soon as I got up from bed. I offered a soft knock on the door. I was expecting she'd be asleep but I was surprised as I heard her voice sound from the inside.
"Gerek, is that you?"
"Yes, Clara, it's me." The approaching footsteps got closer, she opened the door for me to enter. "I kept to my promise, didn't I?"
She smiled, falling into my arms. "Yes, you did. Thanks for coming." I hugged her back, until she was satisfied. "I made tea, mind having some?"
I barely take tea, my likeness for it was poor, but since she had made it for the both of us, who am I to say no? "Sure."
She poured two cups of tea for us. "Come on, have a seat."
I sat on the couch while she sat on the bed. "How do you feel now?" I asked, staring at her.
