That night, Anna started to draft the additional designs for the summer collection. She has to work on this project especially since the deadline is just a week and the boss will be staying in the country and most probably be in the office for the two whole freaking weeks!
2 am when she decided to get some sleep.
"Gabriel, No!" she shouted.
She is running after Gabriel. He got his son and she knew he would never give him back his beloved son.
"Gabriel, please! I beg you! I would do anything. please give me back my son... " tears are rolling down her eyes... sobbing hard. She is alive because of her son. She only has Enzo. Enzo is her life!
"Mommy! Mommy!" Enzo said.
"Wake up, Mommy we're going to be late.." the boy said.
Waking up, she noticed her wet pillow. she's been crying in her sleep... She clearly remembers that Gabriel is taking Enzo away from her. But Gabriel couldn't do that. He is afraid of a responsibility. Her girlfriend won't allow that, she is sure of it. She shrugged the idea of Gab taking her son away. Dreams are the opposite of reality indeed. She thought.
After sending Enzo to school, she proceeded to the office. She notified the design department for a meeting to plan for the revisions and additional designs the boss requires.
After the meeting, she received a text message saying the repair expenses are ready to be reimbursed. She sighed because the amount is almost half of her monthly salary for goodness sake! After wiring the payment, she proceeded with her work. Two in the afternoon when she received a call coming from the Director's office. She was summoned by the boss.
"I already paid so what is there to worry about? Hmp!" she said to herself.
She glanced at herself in the mirror before heading out.
"Come in." the baritone voice from the inside if the office said.
"Good afternoon, Mr. Daniels." she said
"Hmm." the big boss replied without looking at her.
" About the car reimbursement, Ms. Miranda..."
"I already wired the money, Sir." she said hurriedly.
"No, that's not what I meant. I mean, yes, I was notified but what I mean is we shoulder the expenses equally. I will return the other half." this time, the boss looked Anna in the eye. She was mesmerized and captured by the brownish eyes. It feels like if she looked further she would be held captured and looking away was her quick reaction. She knew she was blushing. It was the first time she looked him in the eyes this close.
"What do you say, Ms. Miranda?" asked Mr. Daniels.
"That would be great, Sir. Thank you." she said.
"That's all." she was dismissed. She turned her heels to leave.
"Oh, wait. How were the revisions going?" he said suddenly.
