I want to know her

Matthew Daniels couldn't believe it. He actually called back Anna just to look at her face again? She is beautiful and he never falls for beauty. But that quick eye to eye encounter is something. He somewhat needs to look at it again. He saw something in her eyes that he couldn't figure out.

"Earth to Matthew... hello!" said Jack pulling Matthew away from his deep thoughts.

"What?!" he said plainly.

"I was here like forever and I saw you were lost in space. What is it, brother?" the assistant/friend asked.

"Pull out the files of Ms. Miranda. I want to know her." he ordered.

"Oh my, is this true? Somebody succeeded to capture the heart of our Prince Matthew!" teased Jack.

"Get lost and get it done!" said Matthew while smiling.

Anna Miranda, 26, annulled with a son..

"So, she was married.." Jack said.

"Single mom... That was tough... and you asked her to pay for your car? How ruthless!" he added.

"Stop, okay!? I didn't know in the first place..." Matthew explained. "Now get back to work!" he ordered.

"Aye, aye, Captain!" said Jack chuckling while doing a salute gesture.

After Jack left, he recalled the incident the other day. What he saw on Anna was an annoying woman but today, he saw courageous, strong, and... beautiful woman.

"What is wrong with me? Matthew Daniels, get back on track. She is not your angel!" He said to himself.

Anna, on the other hand, was lost in thoughts. She sense some familiarity with him. Maybe it was because of the car incident the other day.

"How dumb are you Anna not to know what the boss looks like?" she told herself.

At 4pm Gabriel called her telling that they are on their way to her house sending Enzo home. He also said he's gonna stay till she got home to keep Enzo company. He will also make dinner for Enzo. She thanked Gabriel.

It's almost 7 in the evening when she got up from her table. She stretch a little and noticed that she was the only one around. She packed her things and hurried to the elevator.

Before the lift close, Matthew and Jack arrived. Matthew entered first looking a her without any expression.

"OT, Ms. Miranda?" Asked Jack.

"A little, sir." she nodded politely looking at Jack and glancing Matthew.

Jack earned a squinting eyes from Matthew.

"Oh, brother, I forgot my phone. Go first, wait for me at the lobby." said Jack and left.

Anna looked down. She doesn't want to start a conversation with Matthew or even looked at him.

Matthew on the other hand is looking at her reflection on the elevator doors.

"Ms. Miranda..." Matthew called her softly.
