Episode 1
Lily's eyes fluttered open, her mind floggy and herbody numb. She tried to sit up but a wave of dizziness washed over her forcing her back onto the pillow. The last thing she remembered was about something that she wasn't clear about. As she struggled to recall the details on everything that happened and which made her into that state, but a sharp pain pierced her forehead making her feel dizzy and almost fainted. Her mother's face and careless expression towards her glued in her mind, a mixture of guilt and shame etched on her features. Her gaze drifted around the unfamiliar room taking in the expensive_ looking furnishings and the lavish decorations decorations. She realised that, that wasn't her home and a panic set in as she scrambled to piece together the fragments of her memories. And then like a punch to the gut,it hit her, the memory of her mother's voice arguing her to drink the tea, telling her it would help her relax, which the bitter taste still lingered on her tongue. Lily's hands trembled as she pushed herself up with with her eyes scanning the room for a sign of her mother, and that was when she realised that she was alone. And that's when she realised that she had to get out of there as quickly as she could in order to some find help. The door creaked open revealing a long and dark corridor. Her heart raced as she stumbled through the hallway, her mind racing with questions. Who was the man she had seen in her room? What had he done to her? And why would her mother... The thought was too sickening to complete. Her stomach churned as she quickened het pace, desperate to escape the nightmare her mother had created. She finally reached the front doorknob, flinging it open, that's when she realized that she was in a big house. While she was struggling to escape she saw her mother sitting on the couch enjoying some coffee. She didn't seem to be bothered about the situation. The contrast to the darkness she had just endured was jarring, but Lily didn't care. She had to get away. The stranger was still chasing her and Lily looked for onother direction to escape. The house was so big and confusing. Still chanting the word help in her mouth, she started to run up the stairs to look for another room to hide. As she stumbled down the steps, a figure emerged from another nearby room busy on his phone. He was tall, brooding man with piercing eyes and a chiseled jaw. For a moment, they locked gazes, and Lily felt a spark of hope. Maybe, just maybe, this stranger could help her. "Please," she whispered, her voice cracking with desperation, falling into the man arms. " My name is Lily...You have to help me. Get me out of here please." With Lily's touch, the man felt a strange feeling and his eyes changed into red all of a sudden and the back to normal. His expression softened, and he took a step forward while hunging up his phone. "What's going on young girl? And why are you running like that? And who is after you?"he asked, his voice low and gentle. Lily's eyes filled up with tears as she tried to explain, but the words stuck in her throat and her voice couldn't come out clearly. She didn't know where to start, or how to even begin to process the horrors she had just endured. She laid her head helplessly on his chest and lost control on her body. All she knew was that she had to escape, and this stranger was her only hope. The man carried Lily into his room and laid her on his bed. Leaving Lily to have some rest, he took out his phone and made a call to his friend who he has been talking to before he met Lily. "Hello Fred... can a human be my mate?" the man asked, his voice low and urgent. There was a pause on the other end of the line, and for a moment, he wondered if Fred was still there. "What makes you ask that, Max?" Fred replied, his tone cautious and full of concern. "You know the laws of our kind. Humans are not suitable mates for our kind. Were are werewolves Max, and don't ever forget that. You also have to keep it in mind that you are the Alfa of our pack and we can't accept a human to be our Luna. That is not possible abd you know that. Don't you Max?" "I know, I know," Max said, pacing back and forth in his room. "But I've met someone, Fred. Her name is Lily, and... I don't know, there's just something about her. I feel drawn to her in a way I've never felt before." Fred sighed not sure of what he has just heard from Max. "Max, you're a werewolf, and you are the Alfa of our pack. You can't just fall in love with a human. It's not safe for either of you. What if you lose control and hurt her?" Max's grip on the phone tightened. "I would never hurt her, Fred. I promise you that. But I need to know... is there a way to make it work? Nothing is impossible Fred and what we have to do is just gjve it a try. And for this I just wish to try my luck. Just help me in this Fred." There was another pause, and then Fred spoke up. "I'll do some research, Max. But in the meantime, be careful. You don't know what you're getting yourself into." Max thanked his friend and hung up the phone, his mind racing with questions. Could he really make a relationship with a human work? And what would happen if he couldn't control his transformations around her? He looked over at Lily, who was still fast asleep unconscious on his bed. What he knew at the moment is that he had to try. After some minutes Fred called Max back telling him that, as the Alfa of the pack he is not allowed to bond with a human. In addition, he told him that the members would not allow it and that human can't be their Luna. Max's heart sank as he listened to Fred's words on the other end of the line. He had been so hopeful, so convinced that he could make it work with Lily. But now, it seemed like by doing so he will be against the rules of the pack and he might even their respect to him. "What do you mean the members won't allow it?" Max asked, trying to keep his frustration in check, and adjusting his tone not to wake up Lily. "Can't I make my own decisions as the Alpha?" "Max, you know as well as I do that the pack's rules are in place for a reason," Fred said firmly. "And one of those rules is that the Alpha and Luna must be werewolves. It's a matter of safety, of unity, of our very way of life. You can't just change that because you've fallen for a human." Max felt something like bitter and heavy in his throat rising up with anger but he bit it back. He knew Fred was just trying to do what was best for the pack, but it was hard to accept. "Max, I'm sorry. But the pack comes first. You know that. And if you pursue this relationship with a human that you have even just met, you're putting the entire pack at risk. You can't do that, Max. You can't put your own desires above the needs of the pack." Max started to run his fingers though Lily forgetting what has been just said by Fred to him. Lily woke up with the sudden touch from Max. " Who are you and what do you think you are doing? And what is this place? "I...I'm Max," he stammered, his eyes locked on Lily's as he tried to process the mixture of emotions swirling inside him. Fred's words still lingered in his mind, a constant reminder of his duty to the pack, but his instincts screamed at him to protect this human, to keep her close. "And this is...my home," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. Lily's eyes widened, and for a moment, Max thought he saw a glimmer of understanding. But then, her expression changed, and she pushed herself up, her eyes flashing with fear. "Get away from me," she spat, her voice venomous. " but you are the one who came to me!...I didn't want you hear either!...What's wrong with you!... After all I don't like humans. Max replied with a harsh voice that was enough to scare Lily away. " You know what...just get out of my house!. After all these harsh words from Max Lily gathered her courage and disappeared from Max's house, Although she didn't know what Max meant when he said he doesn't like humans. On her way back home she was readly prepared to face her mother and ask her why she did that to her.
