A shocking reveal, Jane has been paired with Lucifer. It surprising how everyone is so scared of him. Is he that bad? 

"You know what? I'll just leave and leave you guys to it. Good luck." She pats Jane and makes her way. As she walks to her partner she could feel his terrible eyes boring through her back and she tries by all means to just ignore it. 

"So are you ready to read my memories?" She shoots Jinnah a bashful smile. 

" Are you kidding me? It's like a dream come true." He chuckles and takes a few steps closer to her. 

"Don't be shy, just look into my eyes." He straightened her face as he focuses deep into her black eyes. 

"Now how's that feel?" 

"Like you're digging through my personal particulars." 

" That's because I am digging through your personal particulars. Just like…" Then he pulls away a bit. 

" That's odd." Then he again gains his focus. 

" What's wrong?" Lisa asked after seeing him pull away for the third time. 

"I don't understand. Why isn't it working?" 

" Is everything okay here?" Sariel cuts in. 

" No. I can't read her." He responded. 

" What do you mean you can't read her?" 

" I mean I can't read her." 

" You can't even go through her memories, how did you even get where you're are? What do they even teach back in hell?" Sariel shouted in frustration. 

" So are you saying I'm a rip off? Well if Angels are so perfect why didn't you ask them to do your job for you?" Jinnah hollered bitterly. 

" Okay let me give it a try." Ariel suddenly stepped in. 

" So you too think I don't know what I'm doing?" Jinnah blocked Ariel as he was approaching Lisa. 

"Chill bro. I'm just tryna help." Ariel pushed Jinnah aside and strains his focus on Lisa. 

Then seconds later he also jerks away perplexed. 

"See I told you." 

"It's like there's a huge wall blocking me from her memories." Ariel commented. 

" Everyone has a wall blocking you from their memories. And you have to break through the wall to reach her memories. I've thought you that so many times." 

" Nah..this one is different. I just can't go through it." 

" First you cheated to get better wings and now you are blocking people from your mind? Jeez what's she even doing here?" Brandon disrupted gaining everyones attention.

"Shut up Brandon!" Lisa yelped.

"Maybe you guys are a little rusty." She said. 

"Maybe the human is right. You guys need to polish up your skills." Hecate left her partner and walked towards Lisa's group. 

"On second thought, maybe there really is something wrong." Lisa said at the approach of Hecate. 

With her highest heels, she sways her hips and stands before Lisa. 

"Stand still human!" She forcefully held Lisa's head in place. 

"They couldn't do it and so you think you can?" Lisa angrily removed her hands from her face. 

" You're doubting my abilities human. Now stand still, you don't want this to be more annoying more than it already is." She placed her hands back on Lisa's face. 

"Annoying? You're the one who came to me. You could have minded your business if you wanted to." Lisa again hits the hands off her.

" Just let her and stop all this nonsense!" They are stunned by Sariel's scream. 

" Uggh!!" Lisa frowns as Hecate places hands on her face. 

"Impossible!" She argues.

" See even her, she can't do it! I'm telling you, she cheated." Brandon complained. 

Lisa rolls her eyes paying no mind to him. 

" Maybe you guys are just not digging hard enough. Maybe you should go over the wall, around or something." 

" Lisa that's not how it works." Ariel said. 

" Doesn't make much sense though." 

"Hey what are you thinking?" Lisa asked disturbing Jinnah's focus. 

"Ohh no-no no!" 

"C'mon if he can't do it then it's surely a problem." Jinnah responded. 

" It's not a problem. Maybe you guys are just not meant to read my memory. It's possible right?" Said Lisa. 

" He's the strongest here. So if he can't do it then maybe… I don't know." He added. 

" Archangel Sariel can do it right? He's strong. You can do it right? " Lisa searches for Sariel's response. 

Instead of responding he walks away to attend other students.

"That's it ?" She asked confused. 

"He doesn't like going through students memories. He says he doesn't want to be a part of whatever we do." Ariel explained. 

" I can't let him read my mind. I can't stand him and I barely even know him. He's mean!" 

With that Jane bursts in tears and ran away. 

"He's a demon." Jinnah pointed out. 

"He made Jane cry. How's that even possible." Lisa cried.

" Maybe you really did cheat." Said Hecate. 

" No I did not!" Lisa protested. 

"Yes you did! Otherwise why wouldn't I be able to read you. I'm very powerful! Soon enough I'll be at his level." She glances at Lucifer across the room, who was staring at an empty space minding his own business. 

"HaaH!!!!" Hecate frowned at Lisa's sudden laughter. 

"Ohh I'm sorry. I just remembered a meme I saw back on earth."

" f**k you." Hecate turned on her heels and walked away. 

"What's a meme?" A random student asked. 

" Ohh my God!" Lisa covered her face in disappointment.

"I just wanted to know." He walks away. 

" I'm gonna attend my partner now." Ariel also leaves. 

" Sooo?" Lisa sighs and walks to the scariest guy in the room. She doesn't understand why she even has to ask him to read her memory. Shouldn't that be Sariel's job? And why is it so important for anyone to read her memory? Isn't that actually a good thing? 

"Ehem!!" Lisa cleared her throat to get his attention. 

"Hey how are you doing?" She forced a smile as he glared at her. 

"Let's get this over with. I have more important things to attend to." He folded his arms waiting for Lisa to stand in position. 

"More important things?" Lisa asked herself as he seemed not busy at all when she was approaching him.

"Well okay." He placed his hands on her temples. 

Lisa was immediately blown away by his strong, intoxicating scent. Bold and alluring his cologne must be one of a kind. Her nostrils also picking up the smell of a fire place. 

"So have you been doing this for a long time." Lisa attempted a conversation. 

" Shut up! You're annoying me." That's what he said and Lisa kept quiet letting him do his work. 

As his red menacing eyes dug into hers Lisa wanted to look away but he still held her still. She couldn't stand his gaze, it was the most scariest thing and yet most beautiful at the very same time. His well molded face, barely could see any imperfections. 

She could feel him digging through her head and without any struggle he was down memory lane. She could feel him play her memories back and forth looking for the ones he want. He was going through the series of her life. Her wedding day, days with her friends, leaving her husband. 

"Okay that's enough!" Sariel interrupted before he could go any further. It's either he really enjoyed going through her memories or he just hated being disturbed. 

"

 He can read my memory see? Meaning I never cheated." Lisa glances at Brandon who just frowns. 

"Tell them I didn't cheat." She commanded Lucifer. He angrily gritted his teeth in annoyance. 

"Nevermind." 

"Don't you think maybe you should be teaching her?" Sariel suggested.

Lucifer shoots him an angry glare. 

"If I don't want to?" 

"Then you can leave my class." Sariel responded. 

" Thank you." He walks away without another word. 

"Jerk." Lisa mummers as she also walks away. 

"Where do you think you are going?" Sariel called out .

" To look for my friend. You ppaired her with a mean asshole remember? And I didn't even get to even know how to read memories." Lisa walks away looking for Jane.

"Hey Jane. Are you okay?" She finds her leaning against the wall staring at a far distance. 

"That could have been worse." She said still looking away.

" I can't believe he paired you with that jerk." 

" Me neither. But it's all on the past now. Just trying to avoid him for the rest of the seasons." She sighs and lands her eyes on Lisa. 

"Though I really appreciate you showing up for me. Thank you." She smiles. 

" You're my friend after all. If you need someone to talk to I'm always here." 

" I'll keep that in mind. Hopefully I can avoid jerks like him. You should too." 

" What?" Lisa questioned in confusion. 

" You know what I mean. I'll warn you once again, stay away from guys like him." There was seriousness in her eyes.

" Is it because he's a demon? Jinnah is a demon too." 

" He's a different kind of demon Lisa. He's Lucifer. Satan's son. He can make your life leaving hell, literally." 

" C'mon I know he's a jerk. For some reason I really don't like him, even hage him for that matter. But there's really something interesting about him." Lisa added. 

" He's Lucifer. Of cause there's something interesting about him. And that's why you want him out of your life." 

" Well I'll try to stay away." 

"So hows your flying treating you? Feels good?" She tried to change the subject.

" Amazing. I can do it without even being afraid I'll fall or something." 

" I'm so happy for you. So how about your memory? Everything good?" She queries of concern. 

" I might have over heard that they can't read you." 

" Yet three people couldn't read it except for Lucifer." 

" He read you." 

" Yep. Didn't seem so bad though." She said. 

" You have no idea. Anyways forget about it. I should get back to my room." Jane hugged Lisa and left. 

Lisa had the feeling that she was hiding something. Something that seemed to be really eating her. 

 Lisa also heads back to her room. She sits on the couch and keeps herself busy with some rules. 

"So how was your day?" Bella snuggles comfortably next to her. 

"I keep forgetting I have a talking cat." 

" Don't be rude. You gotta admit it, it's kind of cool." 

" No it's wierd and scary." 

" There are so many people out there who wish they could communicate with their pets. You got to learn to look at the fun side of things." 

"Okay maybe you're right. It is kind of cool." She scratches Bella's head. 

" So wanna tell me about your day?" 

" Well it was kind of awkward. After class I found Ariel being molded to death." 

"That boyfriend if yours from earlier?" 

" He's not my boyfriend." She stressed.

"Okay fine. So what did you do? Did you help him out?" 

" Of cause I helped him out he's my friend." 

" He's sure gonna love you after this." 

"I don't know. He told me not to play hero and stay out of his damn business. After saving him from the scariest person ever, that's what I got as thank you." Lisa paged through the book. 

" Don't worry about it, I'm sure he'll come around. Now tell me more about this scary looking man, he seems interesting." 

" He's interesting indeed. They call him Lucifer…" 

" The son of Satan?" Bella interrupted. 

" The one and only. He looks so mean and unfriendly. He looks like a guy who can skin a person alive. And yet again he's so attractive." 

" You like him?" 

" No I don't like him, I hate him." 

"You said he was attractive." She pointed out. 

" So? Hating a person doesn't make that person automatically unattractive. I just don't like his stinking attitude, way too much pride." 

" He's Lucifer what did you expect? Anyways you can't just hate him, get to know the man." 

" And somewhat your advice is very different from Jane's. Here you're telling me to get to know him better and she just told me to completely stay away from him." 

" Who's Jane?" She curiously asked.

"My friend. Who just got a bad experience with him. I don't understand why she won't just tell me, maybe I could help." 

" She just needs time. Plus it doesn't mean you're going to have a bad experience with him. What if you actually become friends?

"I don't think he needs friends or he even has friends. And what's in it for me getting to know him? I don't want to mess around with those kind of people. He could be bad news." Lisa amplified.

" Okay stay away from the demon. So what are you reading?" Bella moved on top of the book. 

" Some stupid rules. I just wanna get over with it and throw this damn book away." She furiously flipped through another page. 

"That sounds boring. I'm gonna go and take a nap now." She rose up and went. 

" You're one lazy cat aren't you?" 

"Believe me you don't want me to start running up and down around the house, you might have a hard time stopping me. Though don't forget to give me some little scratchy scratches before you sleep." 

"Finally! A person can relax." She went threw the book away and upstairs and took a shower before going to bed. 

"Hey you're on my bed." She scratched Bella behind the ear. 

"I promise I don't snore. You won't even notice I'm here." 

" You're so cute." She starts brushing her hair and gets in bed besides her. 

"Good night." 

"Night."

In the morning Lisa is alarmed by a loud noise in her room.

"Who's that?" She lifts her head searching for the strange noise. 

"Sorry it's just me. I didn't mean to wake you." Ariel emerged from the shower. 

" Ariel? How did you even get in here?" She asked surprised. 

" So how did you sleep?" 

"Slept well." She answered. 

"Look I want to apologize about yesterday. I get it you were just trying to help and I acted like a jerk. I just didn't want you to get involved with him. Especially if I can't protect you from him." He sat on the bed besides Lisa. 

"It's fine really I understand. I also get it, he's just a mean person. I'm just glad you're okay, yesterday you didn't look so good. I was worried." 

"I'm fine. Nothing my body couldn't handle. And again thank you for letting me use your shower." 

" As long as your uncle doesn't get angry at me for being late. Plus I don't think he really likes me very much." Lisa sat up straight slightly balancing with the pillows. 

"My uncle is like that. He's hard on everyone, he just wants what's best from his students. And that means pushing them." 

" At least you're almost done. You're gonna be an angel soon." 

" Yet there still much work ahead. So many things to do. At least you don't have that much pressure thrown at you. 

"Really. I can barely hold on here. This place is just too much for me. There's something new to learn everyday. I feel like everything is moving so fast in just a short space of time. It's just too much." Lisa sank back into the pillows. 

" I'm sure you'll be fine. And you're doing so much better already. And there's something that just feels special about you." 

" You think?" Lisa smile as they lock eyes with Ariel. 

"Yeah." He also smiles as he closes the distance in between.
