Junior Year
It was the start of Sam’s junior year, she was now on the varsity team, she had the coach she wanted and she had the expectation to be the leader of the team. She hoped most of the ugliness of last year was behind her. She knew there still was some distrust from her teammates and her fellow students but it had subsided considerably since earlier this year.
