Chapter 24
Sam and Janie became friends, well as close as it was possible to be friends with her. It was always going to be a slow process with her and there was only so close she was going to allow others to get to her. Janie wasn’t sure if she should try but she wanted to invite Sam to spend the weekend with her. She was sure Sam would never invite her to her house. She wasn’t sure if anyone even knew where she lived because Sam rarely gave out details about her home life.
Few had met her mother and no one had even seen her father.
