I drummed my fingers on my desk, staring at the stack of reports that required my attention. The pack territory negotiations with the Northern wolves had reached a critical stage, but my mind kept wandering to Elara.
"Damn it," I muttered, reaching for my phone.
I needed to focus, and that meant clearing this Kane situation first. Elara had mentioned preparing food for him, and the thought sent my Alpha wolf into a possessive frenzy I couldn't entirely explain.
