FLASHBACK
Jonah and I have been dating for a few months now. We waited a few weeks before having a get together with our kids. They all get along very well. His daughter, Illy, is infatuated with my son, Tristan. Whenever we’re altogether, she always has to be near him.
I’m making gumbo for dinner. Jonah is coming over with the kids. It’s Friday night and his kids are supposed to be with their mother, but she bailed. So I had invited them all over to stay the night. There was a trundle bed under Tristan’s bed for Jaxson to sleep on. I had a playpen for Illianna. I’m kind of nervous because Jonah has been acting weird all week. I hope he’s not planning on ending things. I haven’t told him yet, but I am hopelessly in love with him.
