The year passed by so quickly. Jaxson turned 15 and by the end of the year he had shot up four inches. Illy turned 14 and continued to blossom. She’d decided to let her hair grow out and it was down to her waist by the end of the year. She also had her eighth grade graduation. It was so hard to believe our sweet girl was heading into high school!
That summer, we decided to take the kids camping in Lake George, New York for a week. We pre-ordered tickets to Six Flags for two different days and planned all types of activities for the whole week, including a day-cruise tour. We took Gavin, Kendra and Jr with us as well as my mother. We all chipped in to rent a large camper that Jonah could pull with his truck.
