After Leah purchased the vegetables, she hailed a cab and went straight to her grandparents house. Among the family members, Leah was the only one privileged enough to go in and out of the Montague main mansion. Elliot valued her over others because he watched her help Tristan grow the Beaumont Corporation to what it is now within two years, something that was nearly impossible. But he wasn't surprised; he had always known she had a hidden talent, and he was glad she lived up to his expectations. What he didn't know was that Leah actually has a well-known investment company that is currently run by a Decoy CEO. She got to the gate and got out of the cab, carrying the vegetables with her. It was a private estate, so public transport wasn't allowed. And she didn't inform her grandparents before coming because she wanted to surprise them, so she went up to the gate, did all the required security measures, and was allowed in. The gate to the mansion was quite far, so a driver was stationed to carry anyone coming in to the entrance of the mansion. Leah got into the car and was taken to the mansion. She got to the mansion and saw the butler waiting for her; it seems he had been informed of her arrival by the security at the gate. “It's good to see you again, Miss, and don't worry, I didn't inform them of your arrival; I believeyou want to surprise them,” an old-looking man stepped forward. He was known as Butler Wang, an Asian man who had been with the family for as long as Leah could remember. “It's good to see you at Butler Wang; could you ask someone to help me place these vegetables in the kitchen? I want to make dinner, and I believe they are in the yard.” Leah asked him He nodded in response. “Don't inform them; I will go see them once I'm done making the food." Leah informed him and walked into the mansion straight to the kitchen. She went on to the kitchen and began making dinner. She was almost done when she heard footsteps coming towards the kitchen. She knew it was her grandparents; they had probably smelt the aroma of the food. “Oh my, Leah,” and an elderly woman walked into the kitchen and hugged Leah tightly; she was Leah's grandmother, Naomi Montague. "Hello, grandma.” Leah hugged her back. She had missed her; apart from her grandfather, she was the only other person who truly cared about her in the family. “When did you get to the house, and why didn't you inform me before coming? I would have made your favourite dish for you,” Naomi chided her. Leah laughed at her excitement to see her. "No, Granny I wanted to surprise you, and it's been long since I made something for you, so I decided to cook. It might not be as tasty as yours, but it's edible, I assure you.” "Oh, nothing you make is trash, my dear,” another voice replied. It was Elliot. He also walked into the kitchen, but he wasn't as surprised as his wife because he already suspected she would come see him. When she asked about his whereabouts, he had an inkling that she was planning to come to the mansion. “It seems you already knew grandpa. Leah glared at her grandfather. “So you knew and didn't inform me, you sly fox?" Naomi accused Elliot, who just laughed at his wife's cute behaviour. Leah watched from the side and once again wished she had someone she could banter with, just like her grandparents do. “Grandma, it's fine. I'm glad he didn't tell you because I wanted to surprise you anyway. How have you been? Did you take all the supplements I sent you?” Leah asked. “Oh my dear, of course I have been taking them; how could I not take something my precious granddaughter got for me?" she said as she walked up to Leah, holding her hand. “I'm glad to see you smiling more, my dear. You grandfather told me about the blind dates. I think you should try to let someone into your life, someone you can spend the rest of your life with,” she tried to persuade Leah. Hearing her talk about the relationship, Leah's expression became broken. Her grandfather noticed, so he immediately changed the topic. They finished making dinner together and discussed a lot of things.
