CHAPTER 17

WHAT'S THIS FEELING?

Ethan hands wrapped around her waist, and her hands were placed on his chest, the carton fell. Their eyes locked for a sec., no words just the silence communicating.

" no romance allowed here", came a harsh voice from behind and the quickly disengaged.Lisa felt uneasy and timid

" didn't you watch your steps ?", Ethan asked

"I did. The cables on the ground made me trip", lisa explained still looking away

" watch your steps, it's not everytime you get someone to save you"

" I know. I should go". She picked her bag and walked out briskly. Ethan wanted to call her back but she was already out of sight.

Austin was watching a tv show when the door opened and Lisa walked in.

" liss you're back. Come'n sit let's watch this show, it's so....."

" I'm not in the mood ", lisa cut in.

Austin stood up and followed her upstair.

" what's wrong?", he asked, while leaning on the door frame

Lisa sighed

" idk. What does it mean to have a crush on someone?",, lisa asked while lying on her bed and clutching her pillow

" Are u by any chance in love?"

" hell no"

" i knew it. becoming a Nun will suit you perfectly "

Lisa aimed the pillow at Austin who dogged quickly.

"Having a crush on someone is nothing much. It means you admire the person's personality,or one good attribute of the guy has caught your attention", Austin said .Lisa breathed in.

" ok. I just wanted to know, a friend of mine has a crush on someoene"

Austin looked at her suspiciously

" just let me know the unlucky guy you have a crush on ok?"

"Hey!, its my friend, not me", she said and raced with a pillow toward Austin who was already downstairs.

Ethan went home, had shower and fell flat on his bed.Aunt sarah walked in.

" How was work?"

"No stress"

" what about your girlfriend?"

Ethan stood up immediately

" what girlfriend?"

" The lady you came home with the first day you arrived here. But its okay if you Don't want to announce your relationship "

" No.you got it all wet. She is not my girlfriend"

Aunt sarah gave a reassuring smile and went out.Ethan followed her out to explain.

It was time for diner, after everyone began eating, Mr Donald cleared his throat and broke the silence.

" how is Ethan faring lisa?"

That question took her unawares

" oh!, he's doing great"

" what about his admission?"

" urm..i don't know for sure"

" I'd like to meet him again "

" sure. Dad lisa and i will bring him", Austin assured.

Brianna wasn't happy after she got the reply from Ethan. She tried bribing Rosella to tell her Ethans' whereabouts but Rosella remained adamant. She needed to speak with someone, so she called Annette.

Lisa laid on her bed thinking about what had happened earlier. She was confused and she tried brushing it of so she could sleep.

Ethan had issues sleeping as well, he quickly brushed it off and fell asleep.
