“What do you just say?” He asked cause he thought he heard me wrong

“I-S-said literally N-nothing” I stuttered. I knew he did know I say something but he knew I don’t want him to hear so he did not bother to ask again.

I keep staring at him with my mouth hanging open, I forgot what I came for immediately. Am sure there’s no one who can resist this, I want to go further

“Maeve?” He called

I can feel my face red again, this is so annoying but the view is amazing and hot. How can someone be this perfect?

“Maeve!” He called again coming closer then I regained consciousness

“S-sorry” that’s only thing that can come out of my mouth. He was looking at me to say something like the reason I came to his room.

“Why are you like this? You should have wear a cloth or use something to cover your body” I said it fast enough for him to get what am saying

I heard him laugh. Why is he laughing? Did I say something funny!

“Do you realize you are in my room and am I supposed to wear cloth to take my bath?” He arched a brow, Staring down at me then he asked “Do you bathe with clothes on?”

I quickly used my hands to cover my body. What is he thinking about! What a pervert!

“What?” I’m dumbfounded by his question but he still looks at me as if he still waiting for my response

“No I don’t!” I said with a tone of shock

“Then why do you say I should?” He asked has he take a towel from his towel wardrobe, then he uses it to dry his hair.

Am sure most guys knows they look hot when they do that, is he doing this knowingly like why can’t he just use a dryer?

“I mean you know?” I said stupidly. What am I saying? I don’t even understand myself anymore

“Know what?” He asked still drying his hair with the towel

“Oh! Right?” I gave a wide grin

You funny” he said and turn his head to look at me.

He looks so good. The smile on his face, Is he trying to seduce me? I mean why can’t he just put on a shirt quickly. If I stay here any longer, who knows maybe I might r**e him

What am I even thinking? This guy is driving me insane. I should leave before I even think about something else

“Do you know what, am going to come back” I said with a smile and I ran out. All he did was to stare at me wondering what the hell am doing.

I used my hand to fan myself, am getting hot. I look back and I thought

“He really wants to seduce me” I muttered and blush

I need to see Nora now, her attention is needed

“Good morning ma’am” she greets

“Nora, there’s another thing again” I quickly said because it had to be a quick one before Myles finished dressing

“Is it about your friend’s friend again?”

“How do you know?” I said with a sudden glance

“It’s predictable” she nods with a grin

“So, you know I told you the wife and husband do not love each other but they didn’t hate each other too” she nodded as I explained then I continued

“The wife wanted to tell him something but she found out that her husband was trying to seduce her”

“Wow! How did that happen?”

“She went to his room but she meet him with towel only, I mean he can put on a shirt or anything and he can also use a dryer to dry his hair but he didn’t. He kept smiling at her, am sure he was really doing it to seduce him” I told her as fast as I imagined what happened earlier and after I finish explaining my mouth felt heavy

“Did she knock?” She asked

“No?”

“But the husband didn’t even know she was coming, is he supposed to wear clothes to bathe? It’s just the girl that keeps fantasizing” she folds her hands and says the last sentence with intense tone staring down to my face

“Why are you looking at my face?” I said as I touched it, did she caught on??

She smiles and responds “Because you are…….”

Oh my lord she knows??? What am suppose to do now, it’s so embarrassing to me for her to know that am the one

“Because you are the one in front me. I mean it’s normal for him to be even naked in his room”

“Oh! Right” I smile awkwardly and keep smiling

Oh! Thank God, I thought she knows. I think it’s enough for now

“Do you know what, you can leave. Am going to manage the answer you just gave me because the guy was the one who try to seduce her. I don’t know why you won’t understand that” I blushed and she smiled back

“Why are you smiling” I ask cluelessly because I don’t remember saying anything funny

“Nothing” she said innocently

“Nora! it time to serve the breakfast” the other maid came to call her. When she saw me beside her, she quickly greeted and I answered

I went to the dining table to eat, I need to to talk to Myles but I don’t know how start. We both started eating in silence till he’s almost done

“Erm- Myles I need talk to you” I managed to say it then he stopped eating and looked up

“No you can continue with your food, it’s not that important” I don’t know what to say, should I tell him to consider it or I should just quit the idea

“Oh! You never tell me the reason why you came to my room earlier?”

“O—oh!- its because, because— I” I just keeps stuttering

I blushed as I remember the scene, is it what am supposed to think of right now? I shrugged

I look at him but I saw him smiling but when our gaze met he just makes his normal face and stand up

“Am off” he said shortly and stand up and I feels down

“Oh- alright!” I fake a smile

He really didn’t want me to work with him, it’s fine. I can just stay at home, it’s wasn’t much of a deal

“You can resume tomorrow”I heard him say cause I was looking down before but when I heard that I look at his face

Resume? Did I hear something wrong! No way I think it’s my imagination

“Am going to send you my schedule for this month to you today then you can start making it yourself by next month” he added

“Are you for real?” I raised a brow

“You are hired” he replies

“Ahhhh!!!” I shouted and stand up to hug him happily.

“Thank you! Thank you!!!” I jumped up and hug him again. My mood now is lit, I was so excited cause I already thought to let go but he did it

He smiles at my reaction “Are you that happy”

“If there’s another word that is much more than that, that’s what I feels right now. Am more than happy” i laugh

“You can go for work now, I don’t want you to be late. You know as the new secretary” I said as I stroke my hair back with a smile

“And I am the CEO, I can resume whenever I want to” he brags and i laugh

It’s Tuesday morning and I woke early before anyone, I can sleep for long hours last night cause am so happy to be given the chance to work. I went to the shopping mall to get some corporate clothes for work.

“Am supposed to be in the office before him, I should leave now” I said aloud as i finished styling my hair I took my bag and went outside

Should I go with my car? No it’s a bad idea. I should tell the chauffeur to drop me in the office then he can leave with the car, if they see me they will think it’s was an Uber.

His office is not that far from here, it’s just forty five minutes away. When we reach there, the chauffeur wanted to get down to help me to open the door but i insisted.

“Good morning Mr John” I greeted as I saw him in the elevator, Myles office was the last floor in the end. There were different departments there but John department is also in the same place

“How are you! You look so pretty and you are diligent, I like you” he flattered

“Thank you sir” I smiled and he told me he’s going to introduce me to some important people I must know here.

“This is Paul, he’s the project manager”

“Am Maeve, the new secretary” I introduced myself to him. Then John introduced me to the assistant manager Lukas

He introduced me to lot of people till we reach Cara side.

“This is cara, she’s the the general manager” John introduced me and she smiles “Welcome to the Will’s company”

“Thank you” I smiles at her

“Miss cara this is our periodical evaluation chart” I heard a familiar voice

“Oh! Maeve” she says as she notices me

“Do you know each other?” Cara asks looking at both of us

“Yeah we’ve met before” i reply and she nods

“Don’t tell me you are the newly hired secretary?” She widened her eyes in surprised

“Yes” I smiles and we chat a little bit before i went to my space which was at the entrance of his office. I arranged my stuff there and I was given my identity card and some stuff. Then I check the schedule he sent to me yesterday and I saw that he had a business meeting with his own father this afternoon

When I hear everyone greeting loudly, I knew he’s around. Then the footsteps sound close

“There he comes” I mumbled
