Before the past

BEFORE THE PAST Chapter 1 It's a Monday morning woke up feeling good sense of belonging it's starting to show,my mother is happy I can tell from my room cause I can hear her singing gospel . I got a call on Friday that I should come on training on monday.that is why my mother is happy... Oh my gosh I should wake up or I'll be late on my first day at work It's 5am when I got off my bed, I started by making my bed before going to plug a kettle.. when I got to the kitchen my mother welcomed me with bucket of hot water and I immediately knew that she means I must hurry up and bath she doesn't want me to be late, I thanked her and got back to my room to bath . After bathing I lotion and put on a black Jean, a black t-shirt and sneakers that's what a manger said I must wear I put my perfume and grabbed my bag then got to the kitchen ,I grabbed an apple then headed out to catch a taxi. When I arrived at the Desired restaurant I'm welcomed by some sweet guy,I greeted everyone then he shows me the managers office,before getting inside I did a short prayer then got inside, the manager introduced us, they hired 3 of us then showed us around and said we started immediately,I was shocked cause there was no contact,but I couldn't ask anything because I waited a long time before getting a job so I just grabbed an apron pen and book that was given to us then headed to the door. It was time to knock off,we headed to the mill to cash out, everyone did their turns then I was the last one ,I was shocked with the tips I made especially cause it's my first day I couldn't believe my eyes that I'm taking home R650 I was imagining my life changing for the better,it was 4pm when I knock off,I took my bag then went to Checkers to buy something so that I can celebrate. I got inside Checkers then bought everything I needed then got home, when I got home I saw a car in the yard ,okay maybe we have visitors today probably my mom told her friends that I got a job.. When I got inside I found my mom sitting with a man in her age group and a girl of my age I greeted, then go put the stuff I bought in the kitchen then the girl gets in to tell me I'm needed in the sitting room I sat next to mom cause I wanna see the the visitors clear ,after what felt like an hour the man clears his throat then says he's my father his with his daughter that I'm learning she's 1year older than me ,he's back to his house and his trying to fix his marriage with my mother. To think I was shocked is an understatement firstly I didn't know my mother is married and I'm just learning today that this man is my father who went to buy milk and never came back. I didn't say anything I just went to my room and changed to comfortable clothes then went to the kitchen,I couldn't let them or what they said ruin my mood or moment, I dished up for everyone the pizza and KFC I got... 2slice of pizza and 1peice of chicken each, I took the plates to the dining room then went back to take juice, cake and snacks to the table called everyone. No one was saying anything to anyone,while eating I was processing everything that was said. This man is the bomb blaster,," I'm the one who bought this house then renovated everything"-he says Londiwe- I didn't get your names and where were you all this time 23 years?,what makes you want to fix your marriage after so long and.... Mom- londiwe stop your dad is tired. Londiwe- okay mama so what are the sleeping arrangements cause I'm tired and I want to sleep I'm waking up early tomorrow cause we only have 3 bedrooms. Mom- your dad and I will share a room as husband and wife, you know your room then Asiphe will use the other room. I don't know if my mother is in her right mind or she smoked some drug ,how can she share a bed with a man that left her when I was still 2 months
