Chapter 18

AROURA

I never knew I did that after I blacked out, I felt bad that they all had to deal with that. I felt even worse that my parents had to deal with it for years, I asked them why they never told me they just said they didn’t want me to worry. We all sat down and started eating, everyone was talking amongst themselves except Dom, he just sat quietly eating his food. When everyone was done they took there leave, I hugged my parents.

I waved goodbye and turned to see Dr. Mendoza talking to Dom in the corner quietly, they looked concerned. Dom looked at me and gave me a half smile but I can tell something wasn’t right.

She left, I walked over to Dom

“She left without saying goodbye?”

He shook his head

“She’s coming back, she’s going to stay here for a while. Till the baby comes.”

He said gently rubbing my belly

“Why, it’s not going to happen again till next month when I’m supposed to be in heat.”

He looked at my belly

“It’s not that, she said the baby is growing faster then normal. She’s worried that he’ll arrive sooner then we thought, a lot sooner.”

I looked at him confused

“How soon?”

He shrugged

“Don’t know, but she wants to be here to keep a closer eye on you. She wants to do an ultrasound twice a week now, and record his growth to try and get a better idea when he’ll be born.”

I placed my hand over his, then realized

“We’re going to have to fight Shia and the witches now.”

He looked at me with a serious face and nodded

“We’re going to have to train around the clock, I’m going tomorrow to speak the the allied hybrids and see if they’ll be willing to help. I’ll be gone for a day or two.”

I nodded my head and held his hand, then I felt it

I looked up at Dom who’s eyes widened

“He’s kicking, I felt it.”

He said smiling placing his other hand on my belly. The baby kicked again when he place his hand on the other side, I felt him roll around. The look on Dom’s face warmed my heart, he need this, he looked overjoyed.

He knelt down and placed his forehead on my belly

“I promise to protect you till my last breath, I love you little man.”

And as if the baby was responding, I felt the baby push himself against Dom’s forehead.

I lifted Dom’s head

“Let’s go to bed, you’ll have a long run tomorrow.”

He stood and we headed upstairs.

SHIA

“YOU SAID ID GET MY REVENGE IVE HAD MULTIPLE OPPORTUNITIES TO KILL THEM BUT YOU TOLD ME NO!”

I was filled with rage, I went to punch the tree next to putting my fist though it.

“Patients, the baby is grown faster then they expected their going to have to come to us soon. We must fight them here in the f*******n Forest, our magic is stronger here. Remember your place and purpose.”

I looked at the 3 witches

“I’ve been patient, we should strike now while their vulnerable before they seek help from the other hybrids.”

“Leave that to us, all you need to worry about is keeping the wolves away from the fox. As soon as we get what we want you will get your revenge.”

I huffed

“And when will that be, I’ve waited and waited. There were so many times I could have just killed them all, I’m about to just kill.....”

Suddenly I couldn’t breathe it felt like I was being crushed I collapsed to the ground

“LEARN YOUR PLACE, WE GAVE YOU YOUR POWER AND WE CAN TAKE IT RIGHT BACK. WE CAN FINISH OUT OUR GOAL WITHOUT YOU IF NEED BE, WE ONLY NEED YOU TO TAKE THE ALPHA KING OUT QUICKLY BUT WE CAN DO IT IF IT COMES TO IT, REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE SPEAKING TO.”

The pressure was gone, I gasped for air.

I glared at the 3 of them and growled

“Fine.”

They disappeared, now I was alone.

It all didn’t have to be this way if it wasn’t for that stupid f*****g fox. If only father killed her when she was a baby he’d still be alive, all my father wanted was power and I’ll I wanted was to make him happy. Which is why I killed my own mate and proposed the idea of marrying Dominic, The Black Moon pack was the strongest pack right behind ours. But that wasn’t enough power for him, he wanted to be Alpha King. He would tell me he would be the most powerful creature if he combined his power of strength with the Alpha King powers, but he could only do achieve it if he drank the Arctic Fox’s blood. It was an old prophecy that was lost to the ages but he found it with the witches help that the Mother Goddess herself will create herself into a white fox and to whoever she chooses will taste her blood and be the most powerful creature, The Alpha King. Father though she died during the s*******r of the foxes until a lone wolf wondered into our land reeking of fox. Father tortured the kid for days, he would not speak if the fox. Father had to force us way into his mind to see that the Black Moon pack was harboring the white fox for 18 years, right under our noses. Father was furious, he beat the boy to the brink of death before throwing him back over to their boarder. I remember watching as Dominic ripped my father’s throat out, I was sad or upset though but enraged that the pack fled instead of staying and fighting. I ran to the woods, I just kept running till I came to the f*******n Forest and that’s when I came across the 3 witches. It was almost like they were expecting me, they offered me a deal. If I helped them fulfill the prophecy of the Rise of The Dhole they will help me get my revenge and power of the Alpha King. I agreed, little did I know what they were going to turn me into. I touch their hand and black ooze started making its way up my arm, pain following behind it. The black ooze consumed my body changing it, twisting it. They said it will give me the power to fulfill my end of the bargain, as long as I feed on the living absorbing their souls I can not be stopped. I’ve been feeding on rouge camp until Dominic took them all it, now I’ve been picking off wonderers and wildlife.

Rage filled my chest, I walked out of the f*******n Forest to find some food.

DOMINIC

I couldn’t sleep, I had to much on my mind. I didn’t want to leave but I’m the only one who can have the hybrids to fight for us, they will only listen to the Alpha King. I didn’t want to leave Aroura but we won’t stand a chance with out the Bears help, the Bears have raw strength and are resistant to magic for a certain amount of time. The bears live up in the mountains you can’t get there by car only animal form and it’s about a days run. I was planing on leaving early in the morning, and running straight threw. The faster I get there the fast I can get back to Aroura, Dr. Mendoza has agreed to stay and watch over Aroura.

I look over and just watched Aroura sleep, she is so beautiful. I would dream of the day that I could finally call her mine, to finally love her and be with her. Now I finally have her and it feels like I haven’t been able to stop and just appreciate it. It’s always something around every corner, I feel bad for her cause she’s always caught in the middle.

I gently rubbed my thumb a tossed her lips, she didn’t have to do anything and she turns me on.

I gently traced my fingers down her side

“Shouldn’t you be sleeping?”

She said smiling with her eyes still closed

I chuckled

“How can I sleep when your constantly turning me on?”

I kissed her neck

She laughed

“How is it my fault that your always horny?”

She pressed herself up against me, rubbing me getting me harder.

I moaned

“I’m only horny when I’m around you.”

I gently positioned myself between her legs trying not the lean to much on her belly, I slowly entered inside her.

We make love until we fell asleep, it seemed like an hour before my alarm went off screaming at me to get up. I didn’t want to move, I was tangled up in Aroura’s body and was really relaxed.

She kissed my chest

“You got to get going love.”

I sighed, I kissed her forehead and got up. I brushed my teeth, when I left the bathroom Aroura was up packing a bag for we with clothes in it and snacks. I kissed her deeply before shifting, when I was fully shifted she helped put the back pack on me.

She pet my head and kissed my nose

“Be safe, come back soon ok.”

I looked her in the eyes
