The Alpha's Niece and Her Mate

Chapter 5

I went to sleep feeling kinda weird. I didn't know what to think of him. I was dreaming of him then my dream turned into the nightmare of the crash. I was screaming and thrashing around. I saw the wolf better this time because it was a dark gray. And as big as our car. It jumped in front and dad swerved then we flipped and when we stopped that's when I understood how I survived. 

The wolf turned into a man and got me out but before he could get my parents and little brother out the car exploited me. That's how I got out. I was told in the hospital that I was thrown out but I just figured it out. I was saved but the werewolf that made us crash. I don't know why he jumped in front of us or why he saved me.

Next thing I know , I'm screaming because of my nightmare. My aunt is trying to wake me but can't. She calls for my uncle even though he can't wake me. Everyone tried. Then Conor walked in and grabbed my hand. Then I stopped thrashing and I calmed down. When i was calm everyone left i didn't wake up till the next day. 

When I woke up it was saturday. Just one week till I turn 18. My aunt and uncle are talking about throwing me a big party that night to help me shift. I'm not feeling good about it. I hate big parties and I'm not sure if I can have one without everyone knowing who I am. I spoke to my uncle about what I saw in my nightmare. 

He sounds like it was a pack wolf, maybe a ranking wolf that didn't mean to make us crash and that is why he tried to save us after. He asked me other than the color of the wolf if I was anything else that might help us to figure out who the werewolf might be so we can figure out what pack he is from.

I told him “No, nothing as of yet.” He asked me if I remembered what was going on around me while I was sleeping. I told him the truth that I didn't hear or feel anyone trying to wake me the whole time I was asleep. But I did feel calm in the end, like I felt like a warm blanket wrapped around me. It started in my hand and went up my arm. It had nothing to do with my dream.

Conor’s POV

I was called into the Alphas office after lunch. When I got there I went to knock but before I could it opened and I looked at her and smelt her. She looked so beautiful in her tank top and shorts. I stood there stunted until she said excuse me. 

I forgot where I was. I moved out of her way and the Alpha told me to come in, close the door and have a seat. I did as I was told. “Ok let's get straight to the point” he says. “I know you are her mate. I saw what happened last night. No one could calm her down, only you. I know you are dating maddison and she thinks yall are mates and she will be luna. However that will not be happening. I am going to tell you this and you can not tell anyone else. Bonnie will be taking over the pack when the time comes.”

“I know with you by her side that you can both do great. And I know that our pack will be in good hands. Now the other thing I must tell you is very important and you can tell no one. Bonnie is a half breed. Her mother was a very powerful witch. Not even Bonnie knows this.” he explains to me. “I understand Alpha, I won't tell anyone. Not even her.” i say. I then ask him “Alpha last night wasn't a normal nightmare was it?” “NO” he says. “It was kinda like a vision of the past. Of what happened the night of the crash. She doesn't understand what it is. But with you I think that she can face anything. You are her ground.” 

“Ok Alpha, I will protect her with my life. I'll give you my word.`` I responded to him. “You may go and remember to tell no one.” he says. I leave his office and as i walked out i ran into madison and kenny. They were talking about bonnie. I walked up and was listening to maddison complain about how bonnie was so disrespectful to her and not showing her the respect of a Luna. I just stood there and i didnt say a word. 

Kenny said she was nice and sweet and not disrespectful at all. That she is new to the pack and an orphan she just found out about being a werewolf then she came to live with her uncle. But she didn't say who her uncle was. I can't tell them because I was told not to. And if she wanted people to know then she would say so.

Kenny mentioned her birthday was next saturday. And that there was a big party  because it's a big deal. And also that it is being held at the pack house because she has no family. It sounded like fun. We should go. I tell them “We should go get her a gift before next week.”

Maddison says ok i swear all that girl ever wants to do is shop.. And any reason to shop and she will be let's go now. But to be honest I want to go alone. I don't want them to go with me.I have to find the perfect gift for her. She is my mate and on that day everyone will know what i already know deep inside my heart she is mine.
