3. Decisions

Lindsy POV:

“Dad invited him to come visit our Pack, he’ll be coming tomorrow” Leon said and I frowned.

We never had any guest but the ones the King made once per year.

I felt my lips forming a smile by its own accord.

“Really?” I asked him.

“Really and dad is very anxious about it, he wants to try a negotiation with him ever since he’ll be the Alpha of the strongest Pack of all the Werewolves Realm, maybe he want to get the tax cut” he said.

“Oh, I’m so excited too, we never get to have much guests” I stood up in a jolt and kissed his cheek and left his room.

My brother was really good looking.

He has mid-length brown hair that was always beautifully neat back, green eyes, tan skin, measure about 6’6 and he was always dressed either with social men outfit or casual men outfit, if he wasn't my brother, I would think he was a royal, he has a strong and powerful aura but he still respect our father, I bet he didn't even notice his own potential yet.

He was going to be the future Alpha so my father wanted to always have him dressed beautifully done.

If someone could define our family, it would be this, we were the good looking family…

But still, it was just for status, I could see my brother wasn’t very happy.

My mom also always had a gloomy look on her eyes and I, well, I felt like an Omega that always had to do what they asked to.

But my brother had our mom’s goodness inside him and I was thankful for that, he’ll be the greatest Alpha this Pack ever had, he isn’t mated yet but there was a lot of she-wolves trying to hook up with him.

Our father wants him to sleep around, he pretend he does but he doesn’t really care about it, we both had such a connectivity that we could understand each other just by exchanging gazes.

When I was 7, my father caught me talking friendly to a Omega and then I have forgot to do something he ordered me to, he was drunk. He put some drops of wolfsbane into his drinks, he always does that when he wants to forget about something ever since wolves doesn’t get drunk easily which lead me to the torture room to get whipped, my mom was the one who took me out of there, I’m still traumatized by what happened. He never apologized and never will.

Ever since then, I follow all his orders obediently, at least I always try to, I’m a mess.

I think I’m not even worth to be an Omega and still, I couldn’t help but dream about leaving this Pack someday.

I can’t wait to turn 18 and have someone to talk to, someone that I don’t need to say a single word to make she understand me because she is already part of me.

I don’t have a good run away plan, I have my mom and my brother here.

But maybe I could find my mate and he could take me away from this place but my heart also stings by thinking about being apart from my mom and my brother.

I decided I would check on the Pack and hang out for some minutes.

I made my way out of the Pack House and Hans was there waiting for me.

“Hello, milady. Those are for you” he said as he handed me a rose surprising me.

“Wow, Hans, you’re here. Thank you so much, it’s very sweet of you” I said smiling at him.

“So, what are you up to?” he asked me staring intently at me making me looking away.

“Nothing, I’m just going to check on the Pack now that I have some free time” I said and he gave me a big grin when I said the last part.

“Then please, let me take you somewhere, it’ll be fun” he said and I thought about it for some seconds.

“Come on, I promise you we’ll be back in a few” he said offering me his arm for me to hold.

Well, I got uneased but I nodded and held his arm.

“Where are we going?” I asked him and he smiled.

“My house, I want to show you something” he said and I gulped hard.

After about 5 minutes we arrived and he opened the door for me.

When we were inside, he pressed me against the wall.

“Lindsy, you’re so beautiful, did you know that?” he whispered to me, his face a few inches apart from mine.

He was really handsome and many she-wolves were trying to take a piece of him, my heart was racing.

He was slowly coming even closer, so that’s how my first kiss was going to be?

With Beta Hans? Then I remembered what my mom said about the mate bond, tingles.

All right, can I feel the tingles? Something? Anything at all?

I closed my eyes and I could feel his warm breath on my face already, Goddess, I think he might have taken it as a confirmation for him to kiss me.

And no, I couldn’t feel anything,

No Beta Hans, not today! I thought to myself and I turned my head to the side and opened my eyes.

“Sorry, I…I don’t think I’m ready for it” I whispered and he chuckled.

“It’s ok, you know I would never do anything you don’t want me to do, you have no idea how important you are for me” he said and he leaned back taking a good look at me.

I was blushing.

He took my hand and led me to the table and offered me some sweets and we talked about the Royal Meeting.

“Thank you, Hans. I should get going, it was better than hang around the pack by myself” I said and I kissed his cheek making him smile at me.

“I can’t wait for you to turn 18” he said with a husky voice and I stared intently at him.

I wondered…should I ask?

No, better not!

I left his house and went back to the Pack House.

I’ve made all my duties and it was already afternoon.

Henry POV:

“Come on, you can do better than that, Hunter” I said teasing him.

He came over quickly and his canines elongated to bite me, I dodged.

He ran to me again and I dodged but then he quickly turned his body to face me and he bit my arm.

He retracted his canines and his eyes opened wide.

“Sorry, Alpha”

“Don’t ever apologize, Hunter. You’re getting really good” I said, his biting was already healing.

“He’s getting good, I think he also needs a break, he’s panting already” Chaos said.

“Let’s get a break now” I said, we were both sweating after training our butts off.

I went to the Pack House and got a warm and long bath.

After the relaxing bath, I got dressed and I heard the door knocking.

“Alpha Henry, your dinner is served” The head of the omega, Odete said and I opened the door and smiled at her.

“Thank you, Odete, you’re the best. Just in time” I told her and she smiled at me.

“Please, Sir. It’s nothing, you’re always dedicating so much into training and the Pack. Alpha Randall couldn’t have chosen a better man to become the Alpha” she said and I kissed her cheek.

I made my way down and Randall and Susan were already there.

“Hey, you’re early today” I told them and they chuckled.

“The smell is amazing, we couldn’t help it” Susan said.

The Omegas served us and we thanked them before they left.

“So, what time are you leaving tomorrow?” Randall asked me.

“I don’t know, early, I guess! It’s going to take a few hours to get there” I told him and he cleared his throat making me stare at him.

“What’s wrong? You never do that for nothing” I mocked him.

“Actually, I thought about going with you, I’ve talked to Susan about it and we both decided it was the best to do” Randall said and I chuckled.

“You just can’t live without me, huh? You can send me love letters and call me through Facetime to see my good-looking face every day if that’s ok with Susan to share” I told him with a flirtatious look taking a forkful of food into my mouth and he punched my shoulder in disapproval making me almost choke.

“Don’t be a d**k just because you’re going to become the Alpha” he said and laugh.

“I think you’re spending too much time with Conri, Goddess” he continued.

“But you still love it, so much so you’re going to share rooms with him” I mocked him again, even Chaos was laughing even though his laughs sounded more like a muffled barks.

“All right, pretty boy, easy there” Randall said and Susan was crying by so much she was laughing.

“I’m going to miss our days together like this” she said and I was quiet now.

I was going to miss it too, badly.

Hunter became a great friend of mine but Randall was my best friend ever since we were pups.

“We still have some days, babe” Randall told her.

We silently finished our meal.

“I’ll be leaving about 10 O’clock in the morning” I said and I was about to stand up.

“Please, wait, there’s the dessert now” Susan said.

“What’s the occasion?” I asked making them laugh.

We always have dessert, I was just too distracted thinking about tomorrow.

We ate the dessert and we kept chatting about the most basic and regular things, when I checked on the time, it was almost 10pm.

“All right, I’m going to go to sleep now” I told them.

I was sleeping on the third floor, where it was Alice’s room, the most spacious room at the Pack House.

It was pretty comfortable.

I had a huge bed, a beautiful and big balcony, a fancy couch and lots of books to read when I’m bored.

Lindsy POV:

It’s 10pm and I can’t sleep.

I’m too anxious, tomorrow we’ll be having guest and my father already asked the Omegas to have a full banquet at night and fairy wine to be served.

That means our guest will be staying for the night?

Then my thoughts went to Beta Hans, should I be so scared to give in?

I’ll be turning 18 in a few months and he was always around me.

I was almost dying to ask him if he’s my mate, if he felt some pull toward me.

It wasn’t just a regular thing all this draw he had over me.

I decided I would go ask him.

I stood up, I dressed properly and I made my hair a ponytail.

I carefully opened my bedroom door and slowly closed it again.

I made my way down the staircases and I was about to open the main door to leave.

“Lindsy” I heard someone whispering to me and I almost throw my heart up.

“You scared me” I told the Omega.

“What are you doing? Your father is going to get you whipped again” she whispered to me.

“I’ll be right back” I told her and left.

I walked for about 5 minutes and suddenly I felt a wave of courage breaking into my being.

I will let Hans kiss me tonight.

I won’t regret it; I was so sure of that.

If he wasn’t my mate, at least I’d know that my first kiss was with a handsome man.

I approached his house and I noticed there was some lights on.

Good, I’ll surprise him.

I carefully tried to open his door praying to Goddess it was unlocked and it was.

I heard something on his kitchen, where we were today.

I giggled as I was carefully walking to his kitchen and I jumped on his kitchen and called him at the same time trying to be funny.

“Hans” I called him but then I didn’t know where to hide my face, I swear that if I could dig a hole and bury my head inside it, I would.

There was a she-wolf bent over the table and they both were naked as he was having s*x with her.

He left her at the same time.

“Lindsy” he whispered startled.

I turned my back and ran as fast as I could.

I made my way inside the Pack House and I got scared again.

My mom was there staring at me.

“Mom, I…I’m sorry…I…I didn’t know what got into me” I told her with a low voice.

“Lindsy, please, you can’t do that again” she said and I nodded.

“Don’t worry, mom, I won’t” I told her.

Well, after that awkward moment, I was sure that Hans wasn’t my mate and he wasn’t worth it.

I didn’t feel jealous or enraged but for someone who was always around me, he quickly moved on.

I made my way to my bedroom again and I fell asleep relief now.
