The Abused Mate

Chapter 2

Anna's POV:

I woke up the next morning early to make sure Hunter did not punish me again for waking up late. I quickly jumped in the shower letting my achey body absorb all the heat and steam. My back burned but I knew it needed to be cleaned. I washed my face carefully, tearing up as the water rolled down my cheek and across the gash my brother laid upon me. I got out and dried off, getting dressed and upstairs quick as possible. I threw a hoodie over my face and started breakfast. I did a simple breakfast, diced fruit salad with honey glazed over white toast and bacon. The pack liked the bacon crispy so it had to be a little burnt. I quickly went back to the basement and awaited my new orders from Hunter. Jake opened the door and yelled for me to come up.

Hunter stood there with everyone else, most were still eating. He stood still with a blank expression, “We have a visiting clan coming tonight for dinner so everything has to be in order. We all will be leaving to escort them back here, some will stay back here and make sure you do as your told.” I swallowed my fear and responded with confidence, “I will have everything perfect.” And with that he and a few others walked out the door. Jake and his mate, Lily, were standing in the corner, occasionally looking my way. They kept sniffing each other over and over. They just found each other recently so it must be mesmerizing. Wolves have a certain scent but only mates can smell the special scent of the bond. I always wondered what mine smelled like. You don’t smell it til you’ve made eye contact, even if you don’t know, your wolf knows.

I start wondering if I will ever find a mate, and if I do, will he reject me because of my past? That’s probably my biggest fear. I catch myself zoning out and start cleaning again. I finish the house in record time and have Lily inspect it. She says it will do, so I start on dinner. She was never really mean to me. I make whatever I can find in the house. I serve a nice side salad with thick bread rolls, juicy steak with a creamy garlic butter sauce poured on top with mashed potatoes. I think our guests and Alpha will be pleased. Oh MoonGoddess please let there be a night without pain and fear.

Seven oclock came around a lot faster then I expected to. Hunter entered the house quickly to inspect my work. He snorted with content and called me over. We met at the stairs and he looked at me up and down, “We have the Alpha, his Beta and a few other clan members from the Black Moon Clan coming and they don’t need to see your hideousness.” He grabbed my hair and threw me down the stairs. I landed on my back, knocking the breathe right out of me. It seemed like hours, but I finally heard cars approaching outside. Then I heard the front door open. I quickly crawled up the stairs and put my ear to the door, still wanting to be included in the conversation some what.

“Welcome to the home of the Jade Moon Clan. We welcome you to our home, “ Hunter cheerfully said, but I heard no reply. From what I heard, the Black Moon Clan were crazy, murderous people who would shift on a dime and kill other wolves without reason. Now I’m starting to be happy I didn’t get invited to this dinner. “Hello. Thankyou for having us. I’m Damon, this is my brother and Beta, Elijah,” the Alpha of the Blood Moon Clan spoke softly. “This is my other brother Matt, and my sister Ruby.” I wanted to know what this Damon fellow looked liked. My wolf Nova seemed to know how I was feeling also. “I want to meet him.” Nova was jumping inside. “Nova, we can’t. If we even set foot out of this room, who knows what will happen to us?” I was almost screaming at her.

Nova goes silent and I continue to listen to their conversations over dinner. I was getting hungry smelling all the food that I had prepared for everyone. The girls of the pack were pretending like they made the food and were taking all the compliments the brothers were making. Finally after what seemed like almost two hours, I could hear Damon getting his things. I could tell by his voice getting further away, he was getting closer to the door. I hadn‘t even met the man yet, but I was longing for him to come save me. Maybe I wish anyone would save me right now. My body still hurt and Nova wasn’t coming out as often. I felt like she was giving up.

“So Hunter, do you have any other girls around here that have not found their mate?” Damon asked Hunter expectantly. Hunter paused, but soon replied, “The girls we have out here tonight have not found their mates yet.” I can hear Elijah calming Damon down. Does he know something my pack doesn’t? I can hear Damon growling but Elijah finally calms him down. They say their goodbyes and leave. I quickly run down the stairs hoping no one heard me. I hear Hunter talking to the others about how great the evening went. He opened the door and yelled for me.

“Clean this place up before you even think about sleeping. And I want you up and breakfast done by seven thirty am… otherwise, I have a new punishment that I was thinking about trying,” Hunter giggled as he went to bed. I didn’t like the way his voice sounded and it made Nova uneasy too. Jake watched me and made sure I did all the dishes and cleaned as much as I could before he finally went to bed as well. I decided I could do more in the morning so I went to bed. I crept down the stairs to my concrete basement and attempted to fluff up my blankets. I knew I wasn’t going to get much sleep.

I started thinking about Damon, what he could look like. His voice was so mezmerizing, Nova nor myself could stand not seeing him. Did she know something I didn’t? “Nova… Do you know Damon’s scent?” Nova didn’t respond to me for a few minutes. Finally she decided to talk to me. “Yes, his name is Cole. We are mates Anna. We met when we were younger, but I had not emerged yet in your mind. It took you a while because you were so weak. Don’t worry, I did not tell him who you were, I didn’t even tell him we were in the house. We can smell each other a mile away and mind link, which is why you don’t hear me. I simply told him tonight, we would hopefully meet each other soon, just don’t say anything to Damon.”

I was in complete shock. Our mate was in the other room the whole time, and we couldn’t do anything about it. I knew there was something special about him. I set an alarm because I knew I had to be up and have breakfast by a certain time or Moon Goddess knows what Hunter will have in store for me. I thought about Damon for what seemed hours til I finally driffed off to sleep. I dreamt of being saved, but I couldn’t put a face on the man that came to my rescue. I suddenly woke up to drips of water hitting my face. Atleast I thought it was water.

It was 2 unmated males but I didn’t know who they were. Or how they got in here. They were hovering over me and drooling at the sight of me. I immediately tried to scoot away from them but I was already against the wall. I didn’t recognize these guys, could they be rogues that were brought in to hurt me? One guy grabbed my hands and immediately held them above my head against the wall. I try to scream but the other one covers my mouth with one of his hands while the other puts his hand up my shirt. He starts to squeeze my breasts and I try to scream in pain but its no use.

Nova is crying out, but its no use. I tell her to try and be strong, hopefully it will be all over soon. The man grabbing my breast releases with a harsh scrape of his fingers and starts going down towards my shorts. I can see his d**k getting bigger inside his shorts. Oh Moon Goddess, please no! I tried everything I could to get the other mans hand off my mouth, but it was no use. As soon as the mans hand was at my shorts, he pulled them apart with one swift motion. He showed me his finger as he shifted it into one werewolf claw. He quickly sliced a hole in my panties. I began to panic, I didn’t want these men to take what wasn’t theirs.

Nova was crying out for Cole now, if he was within a mile of us, he could hear her. The Black Moon Clan was atleast 5 miles away but maybe Cole would say something to Damon after all. I try to imagine life is frozen. It can’t be happening this way. I am quickly brought back to reality when the man shoves his fingers inside me. It hurt so much, I was crying underneath the mans hand. The one that was using his fingers went faster and faster til I was screaming in pain. No one could hear me, no one could save me. No one wanted to. The man decided he was done and walked up stairs, licking his fingers and grinning at me, as if letting me know he hadn’t had enough yet.

The other guy finally made eye contact with me, and it scared me to death. His eyes were black, it was like he could smell my inside juices. I didn’t want any of this to be happening to me. He kept his hand over my mouth and threw me over his shoulder. He threw me to the concrete floor, ignoring the blankets that I slept on, and he crawled on top of me. I could feel him undo his pants and start stroking his d**k. I tried my best to get away from him, Nova whimpering at the sight of it. It was huge, and he didn’t care that I was a virgin. He stuffed the nearest shirt he could find in my mouth so he could release it and gripped both my hands above my head on the floor. I closed my eyes and waited.

It seemed like forever and I finally decided to open my eyes. Was it over? As soon as I opened them, he thrust into me, pushing me back a few inches and scratching open my fresh wounds. I screamed in pain as I felt heat building up and going between my butt cheecks. It was blood. He kept going harder and harder, and I felt him grow in size. Oh no, he was shifting into his wolf! He stopped half way and I could feel him almost in my stomach. I couldn’t move anymore and Nova was whimpering in pain, but she was growing weak. He finally pulled out and released his seed over my almost unconcious body and left. I laid there for over an hour, not knowing how to comprehend what just happened.
