She loved every core of his soul and craved for every touch of his body. He was the cure of her every thirst. Haze. I was sitting on breakfast table along with Hayden. Alice was serving us breakfast, it was uncomfortable considering the fact that he is never present for meals. "I'll skip the milk." I said to Alice with a sheepish smile and she gave me a motherly look. "Come on Alice, I'll take coffee instead of milk." I said munching on the pancakes she made for us. "You're not taking any caffeine, Crystal." Hayden said with a pointing look and I rolled my eyes at him. Yesterday, Eli, the pack doctor came to check up on me and he said me to avoid caffeine as much as possible. But how do I tell them coffee and I are inseparable. "Come one, a cup won't harm." I said giving him a grin and I was greeted by a warning look. "Give her a glass of juice." He said to Alice but his eyes were on me. "But I......" He cut me with his icy tone. "Either it is juice or milk. Now, you decide." He said sipping his black coffee. "Juice it is." I mumbled glaring at him. "But," I said gaining his attention as I stood up from my seat and walked to his chair. "Even you won't have coffee till I don't have." I said with a victorious smirk as I snatched his cup from his hand. His hand encircled my waist and with a swift I was on his lap and surprisingly cup still in my hand. He eyed the cup and pushed it to other part of table. "As you say, mate." He said leaning closer to me and whispering in my ear. I could feel tingles as his hand brushed my arm. I looked into his warm brown eyes, a part of me melting in his eyes. I pushed myself away from him when the sudden spell of his eyes ended and I took my seat and sipped my juice with a smirk, eyeing his remaining coffee. He got up from the seat and headed towards his study when he called me and I turned towards him. "I want you in my study at 3 p.m. sharp. Remember, I hate tardiness." And with that he was gone and I gaped at his vanished figure. Did he just asked me to come in his study? As in getting involved in his werewolf business. I sighed, as much I want pull myself away from him and his world, I am only sinking deeper. ~~~ I looked at myself one last time in the mirror. I was dressed in blue blouse and black ripped jeans. And I let my hairs down, since it is just collarbone length. I exited the room and headed towards his study. I looked at my wristwatch and it read 2.57 p.m. I knocked on the door and entered the study and gasped at the people standing in front of me. They must be nearly twenty. Hayden looked at me and a look of content passed his face. I let out a breath which I didn't knew I was holding. "Silence." He ordered in a low voice and the room was dead silent. And I knew the stories of King Hayden Black was no joke. He is a man of few words, he was respected not only in his world but also in our, human world. He walked towards me and pulled me closer to him by my waist. "She is my mate and your soon to be Queen, Crystal." He said with authority dripping from his voice. His voice was more cold and thunderous while addressing to others. They all bowed their head at me and I gave them an awkward now. I was not used to a bunch of people bowing at me. "She is a human." One of them bellowed, he was disgusted of their Queen being a human. "Is there a problem with it Asher?" Hayden asked in a deadly voice and the hairs back my neck stood up. The Asher guy audibly gulped at his tone. There was a hidden threat in his voice, there always is. "Of course not King." He said to Hayden and turned to me. "My apologies, Queen." He said with clenched teeth, as if it was venom for him to subject me as his Queen, it's not that I am dying to be your Queen, buddy. "It's alright, I expected that." I said honestly and boldly. "It's a pleasure meeting you my Queen." A blonde with black eyes said taking my hand and bowing in process. "He is Danny, my third in command." Hayden said with his usual cold voice. "Gamma. Haven't seen you before." I said placing my hand back to my sides. "He was gone for some pack work. We shall start the meeting." Hayden said sitting at the front and me beside him. "Tell me what information you have Danny." He commanded to his gamma as he stood up and bowed in front of us before telling us what information he had. "Rouges are looking for Queen desperately. Some of them were found trying to get into the territory and we caught them but they are not opening their mouth." He said sitting back on his seat. A chill passed down me as his words dawn within me. They are looking for me. "They must be in dungeon." Hayden said addressing to Danny but his eyes on me. I know he brought me here to tell me the danger I am in, to avoid my any escaping ideas. "They are held in dungeon, waiting for their fate, King." Danny replied with a nod. Hayden nodded back and with that he stood up making all of us stand up. "Meeting is dismissed." And with that the study went empty, leaving me and Hayden alone. I looked at Hayden to find him looking at me intensely. He held my hand and led me outside the house and I didn't have to question him where he was taking cause I may already have an idea where he is taking me. We entered a shallow building, it was pitch black. We walked underground and a shiver of fear spread through my body. "This is the dungeon where we punish our enemies." Hayden said with a chilling voice and I knew I wouldn't like whatever he wants to show me. He grabbed my waist since I had no idea where we are heading considering it is pitch dark. After walking for around two minutes we stopped and I felt his breath near my ear. I shivered at our proximity. "And now there's no escaping sweetheart." He meant it and I knew it. I gulped and nodded, not trusting my voice in darkness.
