CALIX "Amy." With her face revealed she had no choice but to flee. "Wait!" I yelled. I chased after her, but to stopped by another person who was dressed in all black she pointed her blade close to my neck. I swallowed down my saliva when I felt the tip of the blade pressed slight against my skin and a red liquid ran down my neck. I turn my eyes to see the assassin who looks exactly like my previous girlfriend, but deep in my heart I knew it wasn't her. And crazily I wished how this assassin was her. When the blade was lift off of my skin I wanted to sigh in relief the blade but suddenly the blade was thrown at the other assassin I felt a rush adrenaline in me and my body acted on impulse. By the time I realized what I was doing I felt a sharp pain on my back, as the other assassin fled. I looked into her grey eyes it was a sudden shock. My hand was on her shoulder. At this moment the blade that was on her hand slipped off her fingers dropping down to the floor. My thought came running back to Amy and thought this was my retribution for leaving her and betraying her trust. She looked around the room like she was in some sort of dilemma. My knees dropped down to the floor from the stab. I could still feel the blade inside my skin that was touching my bones. Sweat formed out of my temple. I tried to breath normally and I tried to reach the blade from my back, but I couldn't reach it. "Let me," the assassin said. I breathed and thought for a moment before nodding my head. "Calix," a frailed voice said from the stairs. My little sister came down from the stairs holding onto a teddy bear into her arms. She was a little afraid until the asassin turns around facing my sister. Quickly my little sister expression broke into a smile. "Calix look Amy is back." She took a couple steps to the front lacking to see that I was wounded. "I knew she'll come back." Jamica said. "Jamica!" I yelled causing my little sister is stop in her track. Her big blue eyes looked at me in shock. "Calix?" her voice trembled. I knew I shouldn't have shouted at her, but I don't want her to go up to this assassin. She may look like my previous girlfriend, but I can't let her appearance fool me. After all, Amy is gone just as much as I hate to admit. "I know, Jamica but she and I need to talk. So why don't you go up to your bedroom first and later I'll call in your favorite pizza delivery." Jamica hops and jumps happily. "Okay," she said. "Will Amy be joining us?" I looked up at the assassin who was at lost for words. She was probably confused at the scene, and thinking for a while I wanted to understand more at the situation I was in. "Yes, she'll be joining us. Now go on back to your bedroom." Jamica smiles happily and ran up to her bedroom.  Soon the assassin got behind me and took the blade into her fingers without warning she pulled it out. I screamed out in pain I began to hyperventilate. "I need alcohol and a sewing kit." I breathe in hard. "Up in the master room bathroom inside the bed left hand drawer the alcohol is in the kitchen top glass cabinet." She nods quickly going up the stairs. She rushed down with the sewing kit, alcohol, and lighter. I watched her as she ran into the kitchen getting an alcohol. "You need to take off your clothes." I listened. Silently she poured the alcohol into my wound and I seethed in pain. She sown my wound like a professional doctor. I wince and grimaced the whole entire time fighting back the scream that was locked inside my throat. "You need to avoid doing big movements from the time being luckily the blade did not hit any vital points." "Why save me?" I asked. While she patched up my wound. "I can ask you the same thing," she replied. "I'm your target aren't I?" She remained silent, and I understood it. She was an assassin its best if her information kept confidential. The less information I know the safer she'll be, but still I wanted to know why she was sent her to kill me. As expected the assassin stayed alert keeping her eyes on me to keep out of danger. "We're done here," she said. "You saved me and I saved you. From now on we don't owe each other anything." I spun around facing her noticing that my face was so near to her. I could swear that I could hear her heartbeat beating faster and faster that she held her breathe for a moment. Captivated. I knew she was already lost with words when her eyes was staring intently in mine our lips was so close to one another the tips our nose nearly touched each other. She probably have never stared at someone so close before judging from her expression. I pulled away from her. We were getting so intimate with each other when we were just stranger. "You owe me an explanation." "I was just told to kill Calix Stone." She admitted. "They even gave me an address to locate you and to kill you." "You give out information too easy for an assassin. Most assassin would be committing suicide from leaking any information." I sat onto the sofa. I still kept my awareness up. "I am not like most assassin. Beside I am no longer an assassin not after what happened." She looked like she was about to breakdown and had lost a home. "Let's call in a truce." I sighed. "Protect me and Jamica and I'll give you a place for you to stay and food until we can figured out why some people wants me dead. After all, by the judge of your expression you have lost a place to stay." She looked hesitant. "My master would send people to kill me too. Wouldn't be more trouble for you to keep me by your side?" "I am not worried about me, but Jamica she's only 5. She can't protect herself. I at least know some moves to keep myself safe." She listens. "Ok, I agree to this truce." I smile. I have make an enemy of my enemy into my friend. And it was someone that could protect my little sister. "How about your parent?" she asked. "They're in China for business. It's only me and my sister that stays in the house. And make yourself at home. You can stay in the guest room which I'll show you later. For now let's called Pizza." After making the call for the delivery. I walked up to the guest room. The assassin looked around like she couldn't believe that she was staying in this room automatic I placed my hand onto her brown curly long hair. I patted her head like I used to do that to my girlfriend. I pulled my hand back when I realized I was replacing this girl in front of me as Amy. "Sorry," I apologized. "You just look similar to someone I know." "Amy, was it?" she spoke casually unaware how much that name actually haunted me. "Your little sister also say that earlier. Who is she?" "A friend," I lied. "Sorry for prying." I shook my head. "Thank you for saving me earlier and making this truce happen." "No, thank you for letting me stay." The both of us smile and were quiet for a moment. I examined her perfect slender legs, body, and face of a barbie doll. She really does resembled my girlfriend except Amy had pink hair making her skin flawlessly white. "May I know the name of our protector?" "Lethia. I am Lethia."
