KATHERINE’S POV Stephen stood a few steps from Draco, and I stayed behind the metal shelf, keeping my breath slow because the room was colder and the air felt tight around my neck. They didn’t see me, and they didn’t try to check if someone else had come down the elevator. They were focused on the body on the floor. Draco folded his arms. “He is stable for now,” he said quietly. Stephen stared at the body. “His name is Aaron Bradley, and I told you to keep him under control,” he said, his voice low but very cold.
