Moonlit Fate

Episode 3

It was my first day in school, I was edgy and excited, I love school but this is different, I don't

know if I was going to like the school.

My dad got up early and made breakfast for both of us, he appeared very happy, "You look

happy this morning pops" What's the news? I asked him, I knew it was not the excitement of me

resuming school.

"I got transferred sweetie", he said with a big smile on his face. I am so happy for you pops,

congratulations. Yeah, my dad is a police officer, he applied to be transferred to Forks before we

left Vegas, I knew he would be granted the transfer it just came early.

"Well, that is not all sweetie" he looked at me with me those eyes that said there is a surprise for

you. It was not much of what I would have loved to have but it was okay, I know he just wanted

to make everything perfect for me. He bought me a ride or should I say a mini truck.

"I bought it from an old friend they just fixed some things on it, it is better than using your bike,

what do you think?

It is okay pops. I didn't have a choice.

"Enjoy your first day at school sweetie"

I drove off on my new ride to school.

I made a good entry into school, everyone was steering at my car, I guess it is cool, but it

wasn't, they whispered to each other others laughed, yeah it was different from what they all

drove to school. It did not bother me much.

I stepped out of my car and all vision was on me, the sudden laughter on their faces suddenly

turned into smiles.

I was not comfortable with how they all looked at me, I gently worked into the school.

"Hey girl, it is nice to see you, I see you are the new girl everyone has been talking about" That

is Emilia the only girl I know in Forks so far.

Hi Emilia, wassup can you please show me to my class, I am having trouble locating it. That is

not a problem girl, we are in the same class.

I was happy, everyone seemed to like me, perhaps it was my charming smile or my good looks

that won them over, or maybe it was my friendly nature. Whatever the reason I could not help

but feel grateful and a sense of belonging. Everyone seemed to know each other.

As I made my way to the class, I caught the eye of the hottest guy in school. He was tall and

muscular, with dark neatly curled hair and piercing green eyes. There was something about him that drew me to him, something magnetic and powerful. He looked calm and he does not have

many friends.

At lunch, I sat with Emilia and her group, everyone has a group of friends they eat with during

lunch, I guess I have just joined one. While eating and chatting with Emilia I caught sight of the

handsome guy again and I started feeling a kind of connection to him.

"Who is that guy? " I became curious, he was sitting with a friend and was eating quietly.

That is Audolf, the hottest guy in school and also the weirdest, he picks his friend and thinks no

one is good enough for him, yet roles with everyone. Well, that was not what I expected.

We got paired in the elementary science class, he could not stop gazing at me, like he was

trying to study me. I felt uncomfortable but I liked his presence, though Emilia said I should not

mind him, I wanted to be close to him.

Hi I am Lucian, it is nice to meet you, he was quiet for a while, like he was thinking about what

to say. I'm Audolf, the pleasure is mine too, he looked reticent, I guess he has not done this

before. We parted ways but I knew he was still darting at me, perhaps he have not seen any girl

as fetching as me, I was blushing.

It was finally over and I was ready to go home, I had a good day it was a lot better than I had

hoped for.

Hey pops, how are you doing? I'm Fine sweetie, as usual he was in the kitchen preparing

dinner. I dropped my things and went to assist him even though I can not make the simplest

dish.

We had rice and fried egg for dinner, one of my favorites. So…how was your day, do you like

your new school? I know he could not wait to hear all about my day.

Everyone was very nice to me, I enjoyed the classes, I met Emilia in school, luckily we are in the

same class, she gave me a tour of the school.

See, I told you, you will like the school, and he was glad I liked the school.

So pop, how was work today?

"I did not resume today darling, I will resume next week".

I was happy things were going fine, I know he is doing his best to make sure I don't lack

anything, I guess coming to Forks was a good thing after all.

It is midnight and my eyes were still open and wide awake, I turned left and right on the bed

trying to fall asleep, but I could not stop thinking about Audolf and the way I felt whenever I get

close to him. It's assumably because I was attracted to him, I concluded with that fell into a deep

sleep.
