Moonlit Fate

Episode 4

Audolf confides in his elder brother Gilbert concerning how he felt when he saw Lucian, as the

feelings were mutual, he felt the urge to protect her and care for her the minute they met. He felt

at Peace whenever she was close to him. No girl has ever had this effect on him.

Gilbert was aware of his feelings cause he once felt that way before he got married to his wife,

instead of telling him why he had those feelings, he teased him about it.

"looks like someone is in love" No I'm not, she is just a random girl that just joined my school

and she is not my style. He quickly replied, his brother was knowledgeable about his one-night

stand with different girls.

Audolf could not sleep, he was wide awake all through the night thinking about Lucian, he could

not get her off his mind. The way she smiled at him, and her jovial character, he thinks she is the

most beautiful he had met.

He remembered his brother's words, and immediately shrugged them aside,

"I cannot be in love" let alone love at first sight, with his face looking disgusted by what h said.

Audolf did not quite believe in love.

He enjoys the company of humans, he loves being around them even though his father did not

give his approval. He will always say: "Son this is where you belong, these are your people, and

one day you will rule this land with your brother"

The responsibility of being the next ruler of the lycan kingdom was his brothers and he has no

plan of prying or getting involved in politics.

The night was a battle of sleeplessness, a torment that must be endured rather than rest to be

savored. He could not stop thinking about her.

It was another beautiful day, the day dawned crisp and clear as the lights seeped into my room.

I stretched on my bed, my body wanted to go back to sleep, I forced myself out of bed and got

ready for school.

"Morning Dad"

"Good morning sweetie" I see you are ready for the day.

As usual he already prepared the table for breakfast. I took a few bites, I'm off to school day,

bye!

I was unusually excited this morning.

Today was different, nobody steered or laughed at my car, and they were all chatting in clusters

like they didn't see me drive in. I sighted Emilia and her chums. Hey, everyone, I greeted them

with a smile. All attention was focused on a red Tesla Model Y, everyone was wowed by the car, is that the

latest model? Oh my God, this is crazy, this was what I was just hearing.

We waited to see the wealthy kid that came in the car.

It was him, I was surprised but many people were not surprised when he stepped out of the car,

I guess they already knew it was him. Our eyes collided, he gave me a light smile, and my heart

skipped a bit.

During PE Emilia took me to watch basketball, I am not a fan of basketball but she insisted I go

with that it will be fun.

I sat down quietly reading my book, I was not enjoying the game until I heard some girls

chattering about something. Oh, it was Audolf.

I could not stop skimming his body, he was shirtless, damn how can he be so hot, in fact he was

perfect though I have been trying not to admit how handsome he is. He caught me steering and

I quickly diverted my vision to someone else, still peeking with my side eye, he just smiled this

time I saw his perfect set of white teeth.

"Hey, whats up", I turned and it was the prince charming himself talking to me.

Did you enjoy the game?

Yeah I did.

Come watch us whenever you are free, Did he just personally invite me to his games;

Sure I will, I was thrilled.

Hey, girl where have you been, I have been looking for you, sorry about that I just stepped out.

We finished our classes early, I got ready to go home. I was struggling with my keys in the

parking lot when all of a sudden Fabian's car lost control and it was moving towards me, it was

so fast I did not know what to do, I thought it was the end for me, in a flash of light Audolf

dashed in front of me and stopped the car with his body.

Are you okay? Lucian I am so sorry, I lost control of the break, everyone gathered round me to

check on me. I was fine, I was not hurt thanks to Audolf but Something was not right, how did he

get to me so fast, he was at the other side of the parking lot, I was pretty sure of this.

I was taken to the hospital, the teachers insisted I go to check for any broken bone, Emilia and

Audolf went with me.

Emilia stepped out to get me something to eat, It was just I and Audolf in the room.

How did you do it? I saw you at the other side, how did you get to me so fast, I wanted an

explanation but I was not getting any. You must be mistaken I was standing next to you, so how

will you explain stopping the car with your body. Don't mention this to anybody please, almost

immediately my dad walked into the room with his friend.

"What happened sweetie? Are you hurt?

No dad I'm fine thanks to Audolf he…. he pushed me out right on time. I was still talking to my

dad when I noticed the look on Johnsons face, like he knew Audolf, it was more like a

dangerous stare.Then Audolf left the room. Something was definitely amiss.

I was soon discharged, then my dad too me home.
