Family

Long Yun reached the airport within a short time. Everything was prearranged by the general so he didn’t need to worry about anything.

Soon he boarded the plain which will be leaving for the capital. The old general knew his preferences well raising him for close to two decades. He got the window seat as per his liking. He sat down and closed his eyes to calm his mind and started thinking about what he should do to find out more information about his family.

At that moment, a cute girl was staring at him confusedly. Her seat was next to him and she wanted to exchange with him the window seat. But she didn’t even get a chance to voice out her thoughts as Long Yun closed his eyes after he sat down and seemed like he has already fallen asleep.

The girl hesitated for some time then decided not to wake him up and sat on her seat. Soon the pilot started his usual reminders then the plane took off. It would take close to two hours to reach the capital. The cute girl became a bit frustrated when she saw that there was no sign of Long Yun waking up. She made up her mind and then called him.

“Hello, Mr. Are you awake?”

Long Yun noticed long ago that she was trying to say something but stayed silent thinking she would be discouraged. But it seems like that’s not gonna happen.

“Can I help you with anything?”

“Umm, I always take the window seat when I take a plane. This time I had to take the plane in very short notice and didn’t get the window seat. Would you mind exchanging your seat with me?”

Frankly speaking, Long Yun didn’t have any problem changing his seat cause in the army nobody ever got to choose which seat they would take. So he had no problem seating anywhere even piloting the plane was not a problem for him. But he wanted to tease the little beauty for some fun.

“Miss, this seat is also very important to me. I dreamt a while ago that when I take my next flight a beauty would seat in this seat and later we would become family. So, you’re putting me in a tough position unless you want to become a family with me. Hehe.”

The girl got all red understanding the obvious implications behind his words. Being the young miss of a powerful family; nobody dared to act like a rogue in front of her or they wouldn’t have a good ending. But this time due to a hurry, she left early without taking her bodyguards not that she liked taking them anywhere.

“Who’s gonna become your family! You shameless rogue! Huh! I’ll not talk with a shameless guy like you anymore.”

Even though she scolded him Long Yun found her very cute and lovable like his younger sister Long Xue. That’s why he was teasing her and not for some ulterior motives.

“Whoa! What weird thoughts are in your mind little girl? I was thinking maybe you could be my little sister in-name so we will become a family. Were you thinking about something else?”

Ye Xing got confused. “Could it be he never had such thoughts and I am the one who is overthinking?” Then she saw that cheeky smile on his face and immediately understood that she has been conned.

“Humph! You are a bad egg and a rogue indeed.” Then she looked away to ignore him.

"Alright miss. I was just messing with you. Please don't take badly. You're just like my little sister Xue so I couldn't help but tease you. My name is Long Yun. To show how my sincerity I'll give this seat to you. How about that?"

"Humph! At least you know that you're in the wrong and apologized so I'll forgive you this time. My name is Ye Xing."

After that, they started chatting and the boring flight became a pleasant one for both of them.
