She woke up in darkness. She had to blink a few times before her eyes started to adjust. It was obvious she was no longer in the elevator, and she no longer had the twins with her. But that didn’t help her know where she was. At least she hadn’t been restrained. But she also didn’t have her powers. For the first time in a really long time. She sighed. Then she heard a whimper.
Looking around her, she could see she was in some kind of stone chamber. Most likely a cell. Taking a step forward, a small amount of light from somewhere revealed another person with her.
She quickly moved to the person and crouched. She slightly shook the person.
