“You rode on Lucian’s bike? Girl are you out of your mind? You can’t trust him just because he is your mate. He may just be planning to get close to you just to hurt you in the end as payback for what your father did to him,” Peggy said with a frown. We were both sitting outside the station while the guys had gone inside to talk with cops. It made me wonder just how much influence a bunch of teenagers would have on cops. I guess I would never know.
“Who said I trust him? I’m just keeping my enemies closer,” I was not sure if he really was my enemy though.
“Well, you would not get on his bike if you didn’t trust him in the first place. Actually I’m surprised I saw him on that bike today. He hadn’t ridden it since…Angel died. Poor girl! She didn’t deserve what happened
