Chapter 3: Knowing who am I

Suzie’s pov…

Lady Mariana… is a she-wolf? That same scent and energy as Viktor, but her energy is more powerful than him.

If Mariana is a werewolf and King Alfonzo is a human, that makes Princess Serene a half-blood werewolf and human.

Viktor is also a werewolf; he and the princess are friends as he said. So, he knew from the very start that Serene is a half-blood werewolf, and that makes Princess Serene special to him.

I need to know why those werewolves attacked the royal palace before, and if Princess Serene has the blood of a wolf, why did they kill her?

And, why am I having the same face as Princess Serene?

I decided to visit my father who is right now inside the prison health facility doing his job as a doctor.

“You’re here, my dear” Arthur calmly said, as he was busy transferring the blood of one unconscious man lying on the clinic bed.

Yes, my so-called father is getting enough blood in every inmate here and bringing it in the mansion for our daily needs.

“I want to talk to you,” I said as I kept myself standing behind him.

“Was it urgent?” He asked but still not looking at me.

“It seems urgent huh because you need to be here instead of visiting me at the mansion” he calmly said again.

To be honest, Arthur is against my chosen job as a model, he wanted me to stay in the mansion to rule the clan together with him, but I insist on what I want.

“I want to know something,” I said.

He turned his swiveling chair and faced me. Looking at his beautiful face, I smile.

“The royals invited me to the palace” I added, and he raised his two eyebrows, showing a bit of surprise.

“Explain to me everything, Arthur,” I said with a tone of confrontation.

"What do you need to know?" He asked then turned his back on me to face the unconscious man again.

"Why am I experiencing weird flashbacks the moment I stepped in the House of Royals?" I asked back.

"I need to finish this, then let's talk in the mansion," he replied.

He turned around again to face me and handed me a small blood bag for me to drink, then he faced the unconscious man and continued what he was doing.

After a few hours, we reached the mansion. Sunni walked inside first, followed by Aiko and Brit.

As I stepped inside the mansion, I slowly removed my black sunglasses, the guards at the entrance bowed down as I walked in, Arthur was walking behind me.

A girl named Darcy, of course, my so-called little sister is standing at the foot of the grand staircase waiting and smiling at us.

"Welcome home, Suzie," she greeted me.

Standing beside her is none other than my so-called b***h aunt, Emma.

"Wow, the famous model is back," Emma said flashing her evil smile at me.

"Hello Emma, I would love to see my number one fan," I told her with my sweet smile, but she rolled her eyes out of annoyance.

Darcy laughed out loud.

"Yes, Auntie Emma even bought the latest magazine that you're with," my little sister said.

"Oh, thank you, Emma, for being a supportive aunt," I said smiling and she rolled her eyes again then flashes her sharped eyes on me.

"I am not your supporter nor your number one fan, I am your number one hater, Suzie," she said with an annoyed tone of voice.

I laughed out loud, of course, she would say that, but the truth is she is somehow envious of me because Arthur let me do whatever I want to do.

"What are you doing here?" Emma asked with her irritated voice.

"I am here to visit my father and my sister, as much as I don't want to see you, but I have no choice," I said, raising one eyebrow at her, then walked upstairs.

"Such a b***h, Suzie! The hell I care about you!" she's fuming in anger.

"Stay pressed, Emma," I told her and my laugh echoed around the mansion.

I sat down at the couch here inside the library of Arthur, he handed me a glass filled with blood wine.

"What do you want to know?" he asked as he sat on his chair then put down his glass of blood wine on top of his desk.

“Everything about my past human life” I replied, he nodded his head and calmly leaned his back on the chair’s backrest.

“Are you ready to know everything about it?” He asked again. I didn’t answer.

He drank from his wine glass and looked at me again.

“I think it’s my right to know all about my human life,” I said coldly.

“Why am I having the same face as Princess Serene?” I asked again, raising one of my eyebrows.

“Because you are the people’s princess” he gave me a straightforward answer and it made my eyes widened.

I am their lost princess; I am Princess Serene, the name echoed in my mind repeatedly.

“I found you, lifeless in the middle of the dark forest” he started.

“The moment I knew who you were, I instantly picked you up and brought you here in my mansion,” he added.

“You’re already dead, full of wolves scratches, and bites, a small spear was being stabbed on your heart,” he said and drank from his wine glass.

“Why did you decided to bring me to life again?” I eagerly asked.

“Because I know how much the people love you. At first, I wanted to turn you right away into a vampire-like us, but Byron stopped me” he replied.

I looked at him curiously, he smiles and drinks from his wine glass.

“You’re wondering why did Byron stop me from implanting my venom in you?” He asked, but I kept my stare at him.

“Byron told me that the royals are not touching the dead bodies of every member in their family and that includes yours, they will surely preserve your body” he explained.

“So, for them to not suspect that vampires are going around here in their town, we both decided to leave your lifeless body in front of the House of Royals” he added.

“The werewolves killed me” I softly said.

“After two days, we came back and retrieved your body. I brought you here in my mansion again, that time I decided to implant my venom in you to make you an immortal one just like us” he continued.

“You know who am I, don’t you?” I asked him while sipping into my wine glass.

“You’re Princess Serene” he replied.

“No. What I mean is… you know my real identity, right?” I asked him again.

He showed his evil smile.

“How did you know?” He asked.

“I met my mother inside the royal palace, and she is a werewolf” I answered.

“Yes, I know who you are. A werewolf” he calmly said.

“Why did you still turn me into your liking?” I curiously asked.

“At first, I already smell you and your mother when you were just a kid. The moment you died, I became interested in how will you become if I turn a werewolf into a vampire” he answered me very calmly and collected.

“I was surprised, Suzie. You’re the only vampire here in our clan that has that deadly and poisonous venom” he added.

I was shocked by what he just said, a deadly and poisonous venom.

“Was it because I am a werewolf before?” I asked curiously.

“Byron traced your bloodline. It turned out that you are the daughter of the well-known and dangerous pack of wolves. Your mother has this kind of power to show off her deadly claws even in human form, and it contained a poison that can kill ordinary werewolves and all kinds of vampires” he explained.

So, I owned a different kind of venom, that’s why this father of mine let me do whatever I want to do, and he cannot read my mind as well.

“I met the famous actor Viktor Elias, and he is also a werewolf,'' I said.

“Yes, he is. He is the eldest son of the werewolves’ alpha Elias Walrus, and base on our investigation, he is once their alpha before he left to work as an actor” Arthur explained to me.

Viktor said that Princess Serene is a special friend to him, and now I am the real Princess Serene, I need to know the extent of our relationship before.

"Do you happen to know if I have any close relationship with Viktor?" I asked, but he shakes his head.

I need to know how deep my relationship with that stinky wolf.

"Why?" He asked.

"Nothing. Anyway, whatever it is, I still want to kill him with my fangs" I told Arthur as he flashes his evil grin on me.

I decided to sneak inside the royal palace again to find something from the woman named Nellie.

The moment she saw me at her doorstep, her eyes widened.

"Princess Serene?" She asked in a surprised reaction.

I look straight into her eyes and she stares back. I did my hypnotism on her.

"I am Suzie" I told her.

"Please come inside, Suzie," she said smiling.

Good, my hypnosis worked on her, I stepped inside her room. Her room is so small, with one bed, a small couch, a kitchen, and a dining table. So, this is what a servant room looks like.

“What can I do for you?” She happily asked me.

“I want to know more about Lady Mariana” I replied.

She’s giving me a glass of water in which I refuse to accept.

“Lady Mariana, she is the wife of our late King Alfonzo, and the mother of our late crown princess, Princess Serene,” she said while looking straight into my eyes.

“Where is she now?” I asked.

“She’s living outside the royal palace, near the forest with her son” she replied.

I was shocked that she has another child, so I do have a younger brother too.

“A son?” I asked, with a curious tone of voice. She nodded her head as she responded to me.

“Yes, the only one that was left with her” she answered, but the tone of her voice is quite sad.

“King Marcus took place after the death of Princess Serene, she should have been declared as our next Queen the moment her father died, but Prince Marcus stole the crown from her for some reason,” she said.

“What reason?” I curiously asked.

Then a light knock was heard from the other side of the door.

“Nellie, it’s me Dayna” a soft voice of a woman was heard.

The moment she opens the door, I quickly left.

A small house near the forest, almost at the territory of werewolves. I distant myself from the house of Lady Mariana, I am just too curious about how she lives now.

I was shocked the moment Mariana stepped outside her house. Yeah, she smelled me, even if I am at a faraway distance, she can sense me.

She showed her claws even if she’s in her human form, and it made my eyes widened, that’s what Arthur is talking about, her deadly claws, and she’s scanning the area. Will she sense my location?

“Where are you bloodsucker? I can smell you” she murmured and I can hear her.

Do I need to show up and talk to her? Arthur said that I am the real Princess Serene, so she is my real mother.

There was a grip on my neck and I am being slammed at an old tree which made the dry leaves fall.

I was surprised when I saw Viktor, he's the one grabbing my neck while pinning me hard on this old tree.

I show him my red eyes and fangs.

"I can kill you now, Suzie," he said, fuming in anger.

I tried to push him hard and slammed at the other tree, pinning him with my right arm as I wanted to kill him now. His eyes widened.

"Surprised? I am stronger than you" I told him and snarled. As much as I wanted to stab my fangs on his skin, I still need to know everything about myself and what my real relationship is with this stinky wolf.

"Why there's a sudden hesitation, bloodsucker?" He smirked and I snarled again.

"Why are you wearing Princess Serene's face?" He asked and growled at me.

I loosen my hold then he pushed me harder, we both showed our defensive position.

"What did you do to our princess?" He asked again.

I was shocked when he showed his claws the same as Mariana in human form.

"Answer me bloodsucker," he said, fuming in anger.

"And, what are you doing here? Stalking one wolf?" He asked again.

"Tell me, what is your real relationship with the princess?" I asked him back.

"Why would I tell you?" He smirked and growled at me.

He pushed me again and pinned me to the tree.

"What do you want, bloodsucker?" He asked with his growling voice.

His claws are right in front of my face now ready to scratch me any moment now.

"Kill me stinky wolf and you will never get an answer" I flash my evil grin at him.

He loosened his hold, then I left quickly.

Viktor's pov…

"f**k! b***h!" I shouted the moment that bloodsucker left.

"Damn!" I kicked the tree as hard as I could and scratched it with my claws.

Why is it hard for me to kill her?

Why does she look like the princess? f**k that bloodsucker b***h.

And, what is she doing around Mariana's house?

I have so many questions and I need answers, Suzie.

I tried to look for her but she’s nowhere to be found, maybe she’s in their territory now.

I visit an abandoned building, the people never touch this old building because of some paranormal activities happening here as they said, but for me and Serene this is our love haven.

*** Flashback ***

“Where are we?” Serene asked me, while I cover her eyes with my two hands as we walk slowly inside this abandoned building.

The moment we stop walking, I slowly remove my two hands from covering her eyes.

“Oh my god, Viktor, what is this?” She asked excitedly. She looks at me and I just smile at her.

She walks excitedly towards the mini garden that I made, I followed her.

“You made this?” She unbelievably asked and I nodded my head while smiling.

“For us, this will be our love haven,” I told her.

She instantly hugs me, cupped my face with her two hands, and gently plant a soft kiss on my lips.

***Flashback ends***

As I walk towards the mini garden it was now full of dried leaves and flowers, I remember how happy Serene whenever she with me.

I sat down on this old wooden swing where I and Serene usually cuddles.

Few minutes had passed. I sense an unpleasant smell.

“Bloodsucker” I whispered, so I stood up and look around, but my heart suddenly beat faster.

A sudden wind gust was felt around the area and the unpleasant smell vanished.

She’s here, that bloodsucker b***h is here. How did she know this place?

Is she following me?

Hell no, no way she is the princess. If she is Serene, I can’t accept it.
