Hurting

I nodded my head then he cleared his throat.

“Why don’t you give her some time to think about it?”

They nodded their heads and he guided me away from them.

“Thank you.”

“Of course. My family can be overwhelming.”

I started laughing.

“Would you like to dance?”

The song ended and they started clapping and we walked off the floor. We stood there for a minute, neither of us saying anything. We walked back over to his family and Bo looked furious.

Ares looked at me and he saw my scars. He saw my mark and he saw the scar on my forehead and chin. The scar on my chest, my arms, everything. He saw not just the beauty of my dress and makeup, he saw who I actually was behind this.

Athena looked at me and saw what he was talking about.

“I’m a witch hybrid, descendant from the Elders, Alpha, and elementalist.”

They looked at each other then looked back at me.

“Come with us.”

They lead me through the room and up to a secluded room. Deimos saw what they were going to do.

“Tori block!”

I put up my block then I felt something attacking me. I got down and put up a shield.

“She’s strong.”

They brought me back to my feet and I didn’t take my block down.Deimos came up to me and wrapped his arms around me.

“Did you put it up in time?”

“Yes.”

“Good.”

He looked over my face and he saw that I still haven’t taken it down.

He grabbed my hand and he walked me out of there. We were about to leave but someone stood in front of us.

“Now how rude is it of you to leave without saying goodbye to me?”

“I’m sorry but we have to leave.”

He looked the man in the eyes.

“Zeus, we need to go.”

The man nodded his head then hugged Deimos. 

“Who’s the girl?”

“I brought her here so she can meet Athena and my father so they can help with her training. But they showed their true colors.”

“What happened?”

“They attacked her.”

“I was asking her.”

They looked at me and I looked down.

“They found out that I was strong and wanted to see how strong I was. They wanted to see how much pain I can endure and attacked me.”

“In my home?”

He shook his head.

“I’m sorry dear child. I don’t condone their actions.”

“It’s not the first time someone had someone attack me to see how strong I was.”

“You didn’t take down your block afterwards. Meaning you were scared and hurt.”

I looked down then Deimos held my face in his hands. 

“I promised to protect you. I almost couldn’t.”

“I’m fine.”

“You’re scared.”

He could feel the fear radiating off of me. 

“Why don’t we head back and you take the day off?”

“Can you take me to the base? I need my brother and nana right now.”

“Of course.”

We walked out and walked to the gate. He opened it then made a door appear. We walked through and were outside the base. He grabbed my wrist and turned me around. He put a necklace around my neck then fixed my hair.

“Hold onto it and think of the garden. You’ll have a door appear and after you open the door, you’ll be there.”

I nodded my head.

“You’re not staying?”

“This is a personal thing for you. I have to go back and deal with my family.”

“Be careful.”

He nodded his head then left me there. I walked to the door and opened it. I started running through the halls and I had numerous people staring at me in amazement. I opened my bedroom door.

“Deimos took me to olympus and I met a few of the others and something happened so he brought me back here so I could be with my family to deal with it. The first thing I did was go see Kyree but-”

I cried even harder thinking about it then Kyree came into the room.

“Leave.”

“Can I talk to her?”

They looked at me and I nodded my head. Nana and Aby walked out and I sat against the desk. He stared at me for a minute before saying anything.

“You look, amazing.”

“You cheated. I was gone for two days.”

“I didn’t mean to. She came onto me and at first I said no. But she kept pushing me and blackmailed me.”

“With?”

He looked down and took a breath.

“Something in my past. I don’t want to talk about it-”

“You don’t deserve keeping something a secret right now.”

I pushed past him and stormed out of the office. I walked down the hall and was stopped by Chris and Hunter.

“Why are you crying?”

They hugged me and we stood there for a while. They brought me to Christians room where I told them everything that happened.

Hunter stood up and walked out of the room. I watched him go.

“Where are you going?”

“I’m on my way to kill Kyree.”

Hunter and Chris walked through the halls while I tried keeping up with them but I couldn’t. As soon as Hunter saw Kyree, he punched him in the side of the face and Kyree let him. He let the two of them beat him up because he knew in the back of his head that he deserved it.

I dropped to my knees and cried even more. They brought me to the cafeteria where everyone else was and there were a lot of the other wolves. I saw the girl he was with and she looked terrified. It was Deimos.
