Chapter 4: Bill's Gift

Lucas couldn't comprehend how his wolf ended up bonding with a weak wolf, his eyes turned red at the thought of it.

Jeff chimed in “what are you saying Lucas?” he eyed the empty bottles of vodka “you have had too much to drink, Lucas, why drink when you can't even handle it?” he commented shaking his head.

Lucas's eyes glowed, “are you here to mock me?” he asked coldly, his claws emerging.

Derek sensing how serious Lucas seemed, “not at all, I will leave first,” he said and started walking towards the door.

Jeff chuckled, “I have to warm the bed for my mate,” he said shamelessly.

Jeff and Derek weren't concerned about Lucas scolding at all, they were overjoyed at the turnout of the event, Lucas will no longer be brazen, and destructive anymore, so they thought.

After drinking for a long time, Lucas staggered to his bed, and lay down, he slept soundly.

The next morning, he felt better, but he was in a foul mood.

Daniel came to see him, “Lucas, your brother is here to see you” he informed him.

Lucas sighed heavily, wondering why they don't want to give him a breather “let him in” he isn't a coward, to hide behind the doors.

Minutes later, Peter came in, with his mate, Lucas glared at them jealously, he wished his wolf picked her.

In the evening, Lucas decided to go to his favourite bar, he sat at his usual seat, close to the window, and looked out the window.

The manager observed from a corner, how Luciana was looking at his boss profoundly "do you know who he is?" the manager asked.
