CHAPTER 6: THEIR FIRST MATING

Aurora POV

After running for a few hours, Cass and I stop at the lake where he took me the other day. I manage to shift back into my human form. I already knew how to do it because Mom already explained it to me. I am standing naked next to the lake and I am looking at the view in front of me. Cass comes and stands behind me. “Isn’t this view beautiful?” I ask him as I continue looking over the quiet waters.

“Not as beautiful as you are. Turn around.” He whispers in my ears making a shiver go down my body and right to my core. I slowly turn around and I look right into his muscular chest. My eyes move up towards his jaw and then I look right into his eyes. There is a look of lust in them. I give him a shy smile. I start looking back down at his body. My eyes travel to his arms, his chest and then to his 8 pack abs. I know that Cass loves working out and keeping himself in good shape.

My eyes travel further down to his hips and it is then that I notice that he is fully naked as well. Your mom thinks that it should be your decision to make.” Cass says. “She is right though. Luckily I only have 2 months left of school so it won’t be that long.” I say as I look into his eyes.

We continue talking for a while longer. Cass tells me all his pans that he has for the kingdoms and the company. He says dad is mostly agreeing to everything that has to do with the company. Suddenly we hear the alarm go off. “s**t. Rogues are attacking the pack.” Cass says. We get up and Cass gets dressed.

‘Aurora where are you?’ I hear Dad ask me through mind link. ‘At the lake with Cass. Dad what is going on?’ I ask him. ‘Rogues are attacking the pack. I want you to report to the bunker underneath the packhouse ASAP.’ Dad replies. I shift into my wolf and I also grab the bag that has my clothes in and then Cass and I run back towards the pack. Cass is running behind me. As I reach the packhouse, I can see mom and dad fighting in their wolf forms. Rogue vampires, werewolves and elves are everywhere. The elves look like dark elves to me. I shift back into my human form and I get dressed.

‘They are not alone. There is something else more powerful here than them here. I can sense it.’ Alura says. ‘What do you mean something else?’ I ask her. ‘A dark aura is on our packlands. We need to stay and fight.’ Alura says.

“Aurora.” I hear someone calling me. Cassandra and Sadie run up to me. “There you are. Come on we have to go now. The Alpha gave the order that we are to sit this one out.” Sadie says as she grabs my hand and she wants to pull me away to the packhouse. “You guys should go but I am staying.” I say to them. Just then a group of humans run out from beyond the woods. The girls and I look toward them. “They smell like humans but something is off about them.” Sadie says. “What is that smell?” Cassandra asks.

 ‘That is because they are possessed by demons. That is where that awful smell is coming from. Let me take over. I can help those humans.’ Alura says. “They are possessed by demons and that is why they smell so bad. It is the demons inside them.” I say to the girls. “How do you know that?” They ask me in unison. “My angel told me.” I reply. “Your angel?” Cassandra says to me with a confused look on her face.

I let Alura take over. “Look her eyes are white.” Sadie says as she points to me. Alura gives off a powerful aura that is making everyone bow down to her except for the rogues and the demon possessed humans. The demons keep storming towards us. Alura goes and stands in front of them. She lifts her hands up in the air and she shoots them with her light.

The light hits the demons and it makes their bodies freeze for a few seconds. Alura snaps her fingers and black smoke start coming out of the humans’ mouths. The humans fall down on the ground unconscious. A huge cloud of black smoke now lingers above their bodies. Alura swings her hands around again. She lets out another powerful light and she shoots it towards the demon souls. The second light hits the demon souls and they disappear.

‘What did you just do?’ I ask her. ‘First I executed the demon souls from the humans and then I killed all of the demons.’ She replies. ‘Wow.’ I say. ‘This is not my full power yet. We will have to train in order to get stronger. I fear that this battle is only the beginning.’ Alura says. She still has control over my body. She turns around to look at the grounds when she sees that the rogues have backed down from the fight and they are fleeing the grounds.

“Bunch of scaredy cats.” She mumbles. Mom and Dad runs over to us in their human forms. “Wow you were amazing sweetheart.” Mom says and Alura gives her a smile. We hear groaning from behind us and we see turn around to see that the humans are waking up. “What happened?” One man says as he grabs his head.

“The humans are fine. We will just take them to the pack hospital so they can be checked out.” Dad says. He calls for a few pack warriors to come and help take the humans to the pack hospital.

“Where is King Cassius? Wasn’t he with you?” Cassandra asks.

Alura gives me control back over my body. “He was right behind me when we were on our way over here.” I reply.

“I am going to look for him.”
