CHAPTER 7: HER DESTINY REVEALED

While Cassius and Aurora were making love by the lake, Sirius was watching them from afar. "King Cassius, you should enjoy your last moments here on earth while you can because soon I will kill you." Sirius says to himself. He hears someone approaching him from behind. He turns around to see that it is Darwin.

"Everyone is in position and ready to attack." Darwin says. Sirius nods at him. "Start the attack now. Tell Marco to release the demons." Sirius orders him. "We are doing our part so you must just do yours." Darwin says before he leaves and Sirius turns around to keep spying on Aurora and Cassius. "Damn but she is a pretty little thing." He whispers.

A few minutes later the pack's alarm goes off. Sirius sees Cassius and Aurora getting up and leaving the lake.

"Showtime." He says while he has an evil smile on his face.

Cassius POV

I seriously had the best time of my life right now. Aurora is the best that I could have asked for and I have to thank the Moon Goddess for giving her to me. She took me like the champ that she is. Unfortunately, our time by the lake was cut short when the pack's alarm was set off because rogues are attacking us. Aurora and I immediately got up and now we are heading towards the packhouse.

Aurora is running in her wolf form with me right behind her. Suddenly I get slammed into a tree by an unseen force. As soon as I am up again, I try to look for the one who attacked me but someone slams into me again, sending me another few meters away from where I was. I again get up on my two feet but this time someone is standing in front of me.

"So we meet again Vampire King?" Sirius sneers at me. He has an evil expression on his face. "So it seems and this time, I get to kill your ass for good." I say as I take out my dagger and I transform it into a sword. Sirius's expression changes. Seems like he is scared because I still have this magical weapon. "Remember this?" I taunt the fucker. Sirius narrows his eyes at me. "Like I could ever forget!" He says as he lifts his sleeve and shows me the scar from the cut that I gave him 18 years ago.

"I can assure you that I will do much better this time. Say goodbye motherfucker." I scream as I attack him. Sirius pulls out a sword as well and he blocks my attack, I run around in a circle and then I attack him when his back is facing me. I manage to cut him on his right shoulder. He screams in pain and another part of his demon soul gets sucked into the crystal. "See it still works." I yell as I attack him again but this time he counters my attack when he kicks me in my stomach, sending me flying through the air. The dagger falls from my hands.

I go crashing down on the ground. Sirius takes this opportunity to attack me. He makes himself fly in the air towards me. I see that he wants to stomp on me with his feet so I quickly fling myself out of the way. He crashes down on the ground next to me. As he tries to get up, I swing my body around and I give him a kick in the head making him fall again. I stand up on my two feet and I grab him by his right arm and after I throw him across the woods, I run to the other side of him and as he comes down towards the ground, I slam him with my fist making him fly back to where we were a moment ago.

Sirius gets back up on his two feet. He turns around and looks at me. "Not bad King. You certainly know how to fight. You know. I saw you earlier by the lake with that hot little number. After I kill you, I will be coming after her, and I will make her my little bitch." Sirius says. I know the fucker is taunting me and it is pissing me the f**k off.

"I will kill you before you even think of touching her." I yell at him. I run towards him, picking my dagger up off the ground before I attack him again. Using the dagger I slice him on his torso and legs at least four more times before he manages to hit me with his fist making me stumble away from him. "You asshole, I will make you pay for that." He says and then I hear some screaming coming from the packhouses' direction. Rouges are running back into the woods. "What the hell are you assholes doing?" Sirius asks and then one of the rogues stops by him. "You should take a look over there for yourself. I am not fighting for you anymore." The rogue says as he points to where a bright light is shining from. Sirius then disappears into thin air.

'Oh no! Aurora!' I think to myself as I run in the direction that the rogue pointed to. As I run closer to the packhouse, I can see Aurora from beyond the trees. She has a bright light shining around her. Her arms are raised in the air. I look to where she is looking at. I see a cloud of dark smoke lingering in the air and underneath human bodies are lying around. I look back towards Aurora. She swings her hands around and she shoots out light from her hands. The light hits the demon souls and they disappear into nothing.

Aurora turns around and it is then that I notice that her eyes are completely white. Her angel Alura was in control of her body. "Incredible." I whisper to myself when I hear some twigs snapping behind me.

"How was she able to do that?" Sirius asks from behind me. I turn around and look at him. "Like I will ever tell you! How did those demons manage to escape hell?" I ask him. "As if I will tell you." Sirius replies before he looks back over to where Aurora is.

"I will be coming back for her once I find out who or should I rather say what she is. Your little b***h will be mine. I will get her and she will be mine forever." Sirius sneers at me, pissing me off. "Stay away from her." I yell before I attack him again.

"We will meet again soon Vampire King." Sirius yells before he disappears again. "Fuck." I yell as I slam my fist into a tree. "Where is King Cassius?" I hear Cassandra ask Aurora. "He was right behind me when we were on our way over here. I am going to look for him." Aurora replies. I start walking out of the woods. "Aurora, here I am." I yell at her.

"Oh thank the Goddess. I was worried about you. What happened?" Aurora says as she runs into my arms. "I got sidetracked by an asshole. But he is gone now." I reply as I kiss her forehead. Damien and Luna Thalia approach us. "There wasn't much damage done to the pack grounds. Sophie and Sadie are already repairing everything with their witch powers. Some warriors were injured so they were taken to the pack hospital." Luna Thalia says. "Were there any casualties on our side?" I ask. "No. None at all." Damien replies. "Well, that is a relief." Aurora says. Gamma Jared is walking towards us. "Alpha King, Kade and Becky just went to the bunkers to let the pack members out." Gamma Jared says and Damien nods at him.

"You were amazing, sweetheart. I could feel the power of your angel radiating off you. But I think that was not her full power though." Luna Thalia says. "Mom, how did you know about my angel?" Aurora asks her. "There are some things that we have been keeping from you but we will explain everything to you later. I promise." Luna Thalia says as she looks at me and then at Damien. Aurora is looking at us with a confused look on her face but she doesn't ask any more questions. "How is your angel doing?" Damien asks.

"Alura is quiet now. I think she is resting." Aurora says as she puts her arms around my waist. She looks up at me. "That is what we should be doing as well. So let's head back inside." Damien says. He takes Aurora's hands. "Congratulations sweetheart. Have a good night and I will see you in the morning." Damien says and then he notices my mark on Aurora's neck. He gives me a death glare and I roll my eyes at him. He knew that was going to happen anyway.

Aurora puts her hand in mine as we follow everyone else into the packhouse. "So your room or mine?" She asks me. "Yours, my Princess." I reply and she smiles at me. It is already 4 am when we walk into her room. Aurora leads me to the shower and we spend another hour in there, worshipping each other's bodies before we finally make it to the bed. Aurora lays her head on top of my chest and my arm is around her shoulder.

"Cass I am glad that you are my mate." She says to me while I play with her hair. "Me too my Princess. Now I want you to get some sleep okay. I love you." I reply before I kiss her on her forehead. "I love you too." Aurora says and then she closes her eyes and falls into a deep slumber. I lay with her in my arms and the words that Sirius said to me in the woods keep replaying in my head.

"I will get her and she will be mine forever." He said.

I have to think of a way to destroy him once and for all before he even thinks about laying his filthy f*****g hands on my beloved.

Aurora POV

I wake up to see that I am alone in bed again and Cass is not in the room. I hear the water running from the shower so I figured that he has to be in there. I head into the bathroom to join him. "Good morning handsome." I say as I snake my arms around his waist. "Hmm good morning to you too beautiful." Cass says as he turns around and he kisses me. "Why didn't you wake me up?" I ask him. "I couldn't get it over my heart to do that because you looked so peaceful." He replies.

"You know if you don't want to be King anymore, you could always do hairdressing as a profession." I tease him again. "Haha. No thank you. I will only do this for you." He says as he puts the hairdryer back in the drawer. "Shall we?" Cass says as he holds out his hand for me. I take his hand and he leads me out of the door. We head straight towards the dining room where Alex is sitting alone at the table. "Hi, Alex. Where is everyone?" I greet him. "Morning sis. Or should I say, afternoon sis." Alex says as he glares at me. "Everyone is in dad's office waiting on us to join them. " Alex says.

I look at the time and I see that it is already past noon. "s**t. We slept in late. Sorry." I say. "By the way happy birthday. And congratulations on finding your mate." Alex says as he stares at Cass. He isn't fond of Cass and I don't know why. Cass and I sit down and eat some lunch. 'Hey dad, we will be up in a few minutes. We just finished eating lunch.' "Let's go." I say to Cass and Alex. We leave the dining room and we head up to dad's office. Mom is also there. "Honey, we have known that you would have an angel inside of you since before you were born." She says. I look at her and Dad before I look over to Cass. "Did you know about this also?" I ask him.

"Yes. Yes, I did. I also knew that you were my beloved as well." He says. "How? How did you all know this back then?" I ask them. Dad sighs. "Years ago we were at war with a demon called Amadeus. He wanted to sacrifice your mother and then use her wolf spirit to open the gates of hell so that Demon King Orpheus could be released. Your mother was still pregnant with you." Dad says. "Dad you said that you united the kingdoms to fight Demetrius Stone and Tony Alanzo and their rogue army. You never said anything about a demon being involved." I mention it to him.

Dad looks over to Cass before he continues talking. "We had to withhold that information from you until the time came to tell you everything. I had to use my Alpha command on the pack members to never speak of what happened that day ever again." Dad says. I nod at him. "During the final battle Amadeus killed me and that is when I met the Moon Goddess. While I was in the realm between life and death I could see the fight going on here on earth. Amadeus was about to kill all of us when Alura, your angel, made her appearance by defeating Amadeus." Dad says and I look at him shocked.

"So then what happened?" I ask him. "Your mom was able to bring me back to life." Dad says as he looks at mom. Alex has been sitting there, not saying a word at all.

"King Elias and Queen Lenore approached us. They asked us to help them find their missing dragon egg. We found out that the egg was in the possession of Marco Falcone. We managed to steal the egg and some other powerful magical objects but as we were leaving his mansion in Cape Town, we were attacked by another demon named Sirius. He said that he was sent to kill the one who killed Amadeus." Cass says as he puts his arm around me.

"The dragon egg, was that Lucius?" I ask. "Yes." Cass replies. "Reginald, Daniel, Dante and I fought Sirius that day. That is when he said that he was going to kill your mother. They think that your mom is the angel." Cass says.

"But mom isn't. I am." I say. "Yes, but they thought that she was. We decided that you should be protected at all times." Dad says. "So that is why I have so many bodyguards around me all the time." I whisper. Dad and Cass nod. "Now do you understand why we are so protective of you." Mom says. "Yes, I do. And now I understand why Cass was always around as well." I say as I squeeze his hand. Cass leans over and he kisses me on the lips.

Dad growls again. "Oh boy." Alex says as he rolls his eyes. I laugh at both of them. "What happened next?" I ask. "Sirius disappeared before I could finish him off. We found out that he is working with Marco Falcone and another but we haven't been able to find them yet."

"When you were six months old, the Moon Goddess visited us. It was then that she told us that you had a destiny in front of you." Mom says as she looks at me.

"And what destiny might that be?" I ask her.

"You will be the one to defeat Demon King Orpheus."
