insecure about his freckles.

“Hey freak! You still haven't washed that thing on your face yet? It looks disgusting on you!” someone yelled from the other side of the room earning snickers from the students. Yamaguchi looked down and held his fist tightly until his knuckles turned white. His eyes started to tear up while his classmate continued to insult him about his freckles.
“You're not too tough without your tall boyfriend huh? Weak.” The boy snickered and stood in front of Yamaguchi. The green-haired boy bit his trembling lip and kept quiet, scared that if he would respond the bullies would hit him and insult him even more. Tears started to swell even more in his eyes and the bully noticed.
He grabbed Yamaguchi's chin rather harshly and forced the boy to look at him. “Aww, is the little baby gonna cry? Should we call the waambulance?” the room erupted into laughter again as Yamaguchi tried to pry the other boy's hands in his chin. “let go” he whimpered. The boy tightened his hold in Yamaguchi's chin making it painful for Yamaguchi.
“You know what? If I were you, I would go to the bathroom and wash away these disgusting dots on your face.” the bully said. A smirk appeared on his face as if he just had a big idea in his mind. “How about we just do it now huh? Right here and then, let's wipe this off. I'll help you.” says the bully and told his friends to fetch him a wet towel or napkin.
This. This is Yamaguchi's daily life at every class where he and Tsukishima aren't together. People would comment about his freckles and would act friendly to Yamaguchi when he's with Tsukishima or any one on the volleyball team. It surprised Yamaguchi that no one on the volleyball team, even Kei, knew about this.
Not that he wanted them to know. He would just be a burden anyway.
“Here. Wipe it off.” The bully said as he released his grip on Yamaguchi's chin. The freckled boy could only stare at the wet cloth as he shook his head. “Take it.” the bully sternly said. Yamaguchi again shook his head making the bully mad. “No..” whimpered Yamaguchi.
The bully clicked his tounge and grabbed Yamaguchi's collar so that he could push Yamaguchi to the wall. When his back hits the hard wall, Yamaguchi let out a moan of pain. A cloth was thrown in his face. “wipe. It. Off.” the boy said to Yamaguchi.
The freckled boy felt helpless and embarrassed. Students started to form a circle on Yamaguchi and the bully while they chanted to 'wipe it off'. “Whst are you waiting for freak? Wipe it off!” the bully yelled. With shaky hands, Yamaguchi took the cloth and wiped off his cheeks.
He kept wiping his cheeks until it hurt, he prayed for someone to save him from this bullying. Much to Yamaguchi's relief, the bell rang and students that once crowded him and the bully went away to pack up. The bully looked at Yamaguchi and scoffed.
“That better be gone by tomorrow. Disgusting.”

Yamaguchi walked home alone. No Tsukishima was on his side to listen to his stories. The blonde boy was home, resting because he just arrived from training camp. Yamaguchi was glad cause he couldn't imagine spending another day alone with all those bullies.
And no, he doesn't have any intentions to tell Kei what happened while he was gone. “I'm home” he said as soon as he artoved home. He took of his shoes and went to the kitchen, seeing a pink note sticked on the fridge. Yamaguchi immediately knew what the note said so he took it off, teared it into pieces and there it in the trash.
He went to his room to change. When he took off his shirt, he stared at the small dots in his skin in disgust.
“Hey freak! You still haven't washed that thing on your face yet? It looks disgusting on you!”
Yamaguchi winced and quickly put on his hoodie. It's hot since it's summer but Yamaguchi doesn't want any of his freckles to be seen, especially on what happened earlier.
“wipe. It. Off.”
Yamaguchi started to sob. He broke down into a curl and let all his feelings out. He then started to wipe of his cheeks harshly just like what he did earlier. He rubbed and rubbed until it stung. The salty tears made it stung even more but Yamaguchi shrugged it off as he kept on rubbing it.
He stopped what he was doing when his phone rang. He sniffed and looked at his phone. Upon seeing the caller ID, Yamaguchi quickly wiped his tears off and cleared his throat (he hoped that Kei wouldn't notice that he's been crying.)
“Hello?”
“Kei..” Yamaguchi said, his voice cracking making him curse at himself mentally.
“Are you okay-”
“Can I come there? Please” Kei agreed. He already knew what's been bothering his freckled boyfriend just by the tone of his voice.

“Pardon for the intrusion” Says Yamaguchi and took of his shoes. He looked around only to see that Kei was the only one there. Kei stood up and opened his arms asking for a hug. Yamaguchi didn't waste any second and jumped on his lovers arms almost crying.
“Let's go to my room and talk” The freckled boy nodded and followed Kei to his room. When they reached the blonde boy's room, both Kei and Tadashi immediately sat on his bed and hugged themselves (with Tadashi sitting on Kei's lap and Kei's back on the headboard of his bed) as if they haven't seen each other for a century. “Something wrong?” asked Kei as he looked down at his boyfriend who hid his face in his chest.
“I'm just feeling really sad about my skin, that's all” says Tadashi. Kei nodded. He knew that wasn't all but he kept quiet and decided to ask Tadashi about it tomorrow. When he heard sniffles, Kei grabbed Tadashi's shoulders softly so the younger male can face him.
He wiped off Yamaguchi's tear stained cheeks and cupped his cheeks. Tadashi leaned into the touch and closed his eyes. Kei proceeds to take of Tadashi's hoodie (not in a naughty way of course). When he did, she started to kiss Tadashi's freckles one by one.
Chills went to Tadashi's spine as he felt Kei's soft lips in contact with his skin. Every kiss that Kei gave him, the male would tell Tadashi that he loves everything about him. Even his freckles which he found beautiful.
After kissing all his freckles (the ones in his shoulders, wrists, collarbone and etc.) He looked at yamaguchi and kissed the ones that are in his cheeks.

Tadashi teared up a bit and hugged his blonde boyfriend. Kei smiled and proceeds to compliment Tadashi while playing with the green haired boy's hair. He did that until he and Tadashi fell asleep.
The next morning, Tadashi told Kei everything. From the bullying to the rubbing his freckles off. Kei of course got mad and didn't hesitate to punch the bully on their face. He got in trouble because the bully reported it but it got backfired when the principal expelled him (the bully)
Turns out, Tadashi was not the only one to be that guy's victim. There were other kids too. When Tadashi heard the news, he got very happy (except the part that Tsukishima was not able to play volleyball for a week) and thanked his boyfriend.
The students praised Yamaguchi for being brave enough to tell others about it and he was happy. The volleyball team apologized to Yamaguchi for not being able to notice that he had a problem that he's been carrying. Except for Kageyama who was un-aware on what was happening.
“It's okay guys. It was also my fault for not telling you..”
Everyone seemed pleased on Tadashi's statement and went back to their old routine. And this time, without any complications.

I kinda wanna stab Yamaguchi's
bully. He's so precious and he doesn't
deserve to be treated like that. I mean-
