Chapter 19 Cody sat on a smooth white airport bench. Hayden was a few feet away, pacing in a small side area. Two men in security uniforms casually walked past, and Cody watched buses arrive through the massive windows. “Thanks for keeping me company,” Hayden said. “I can’t wait to meet your parents.” Cody pictured older versions of Hayden acting as bizarre as their son and smiled. “They’re cool. Um, you can be open around them.
