Chapter 21
Cody, Caleb, and Lin entered the thickening forest and walked for five minutes before they spotted a few green orbs flying through the woods.
“We all see that, right?” Caleb asked.
“The green lights twenty feet away?” Cody asked. “Oh, yeah.”
They stopped and watched six basketball sized orbs hover at head level. The glowing objects bounced back and forth around each other and the foliage.
“They don’t look dangerous,” Lin stated.
Neither did that ghost who killed your son and possessed you, Cody thought.
“They’re keeping their distance,” Caleb said. “Let’s see if they stay away from us.”
