Miss Kate was trapped in an illusion. She was caught in a delusional imagination, and her gaze was caught in the tractor beam of kan's charm, her eyes widening in rapt attention Time stood still as she watched him keenly, her thoughts reduced to a mere whisper. " Oh, the humanity! I'm a grown woman, reduced to a mere kid by the sheer force of his... his... swoon, " She muttered. As kan walked closer to her, kate's eyes remained glued to his every move, her brain hijacked by the primal allure of his chiselled features. She tried to look away, but kan caught her staring at him, flashed a devastating smile, which caused her heart to skip a beat. " Yes, you must be Miss Kate. " Kan - song answered. Mike stood up from his seat, jumping off, bowed to him. He gestured to him to leave, and he left without hesitation " Have a seat beautiful. " He said with a calm voice. kate's mind flew into the sky as she heard him flatter her. She taught her beauty has begun to hypnotise him. During business proposals like this one, during an opportunity to meet a multi - billionaire, one has to use the mens weaknesses to arouse their sensuality and give them a nimb of the feeling of s****l delight and pleasure, filling up their minds with your imaginations and images, then when they finally go dumb and numb, they succumb to your request, then a good chance to strike a deal. She was clever, precocious, and intelligent, which earned her the title of the young mistress. She quickly adjusted her clothing to suit his taste. Kan's eyes first descended on her busty, succulent bo**s which she intentionally left to stick out, then her flat belly, well curved hips and lastly, the most dangerous of all, her damn motherfucking a*s. His eyes lit with surprise, and he gave out his costly warm smile. " You could have performed better during the dusk as the lady of the night. " " What!!" She exclaimed, highly astonished. She took in a deep breath, her mind racing and panicking as she tried to anticipate his actions. She sat comfortably as a business technician. She has learned never to give up. He sat on his seat, staring at her, their bodies separated by his desk. She brought out all the essential documents needed for the briefing and placed it on his desk. He glanced at her and gave out his enchanting smile once more. " Alright, miss Kate, it's business time. " JUTSU POLICE STATION As busy as it always was, the crime investigation hall was rousing and noisy. Clara walked briskly into the office with her handbag, strolling through the clear path to avoid tripping off. The d.p.o walked to her. "Any information? " " Um, not yet. " She replied. The D.P.O. patted her shoulder. " Do what you can be sure to do best, then get back to me. " She nodded in agreement and then moved to her spot of work. There, she found lian and Bryan conversing together. "Guys, I got a lead on the culprit. " She said, bringing out kan - songs business card from her handbag. Bryan cast a strange gaze at her. " Which culprit do you refer to?" He asked, puzzled. " The strange man with the umbrella," She replied casually " Did we ever deal on such a case? " Lian asked. " Or did you have a nightmare? " She presumed, this time making her more confused. " You guys can't recall anything? Is this a joke?" She uttered, her eyes darting back and forth. She wore a puzzled expression, with a furrowed brow, squinting eyes, and a slightly parted mouth, as if trying to decipher a complex puzzle, her body language conveying a sense of confusion and frustration. They both shook their head, looking puzzled and traumatic. Lian moved towards her and snatched the business card off her hand, her eyes immediately lit up. " What!" She glanced at Clara. " This... my long time crush!" She exclaimed, filled with excess joy. " How did you get his business card, his private business card? You don't know him?" Clara shook her head in disagreement. " He's one of the most influential citizens of the country, a multi billionaire, C.E.O. of the kan investment association. awnnn! Still handsome as ever, so young and cute. " She muttered, blushing and hugging the card tightily. " Can't you give us an explanation, or are you running crazy?we can be of help. " Bryan uttered. The air was thick with an eerie silence as the girl, Sarah, stood amidst a crowd of blank faces. She tried to speak, to shake them from their collective amnesia, but her words fell flat. "Remember Him?" she pleaded, her voice cracking with desperation. "The one we were spying on, who murdered the senator?" But the faces around her remained impassive, like statues devoid of memory or emotion. Sarah's eyes darted from one person to another, searching for a glimmer of recognition, but found none. It was as if a veil of forgetfulness had been cast over them, leaving her the sole guardian of the truth. She grasped the arm of Bryan, her voice taking on a begging tone. "Don't you remember? The stories, the murders, the p.a?" Bryan's expression remained blank, like a slate wiped clean. "Remember what?" Sarah's grip tightened, her nails digging into his skin. "Him! Our target, Damn!" But Bryan pulled away, confusion etched on his face. "Who are you talking about?" The scene unfolded like a surreal nightmare, with Sarah trapped in a sea of forgetfulness. She felt like a lone whisper in a world gone deaf, her words lost in the void. As she stumbled through her thoughts, her cries of "Remember!" were met with shrugs and vacant stares. The atmosphere was heavy with the weight of forgotten truth, leaving Sarah to wonder if she alone held the key to their collective memory. Then at this moment, she recalled her event with kan- song, the flowing conversation and the sudden outburst of colours, bright light and disarranged illusion, she encountered an excruciating pain in her brain. The pain in the brain was a searing, throbbing, and relentless torment that threatened to consume her every waking moment. It was as if a thousand razor-sharp knives were piercing her skull, slicing through her cerebral cortex with precision and malice. Each beat of her heart sent a fresh wave of agony coursing through her brain, like a tidal wave of suffering that refused to recede. The pain was a living, breathing entity, writhing and twisting within her mind like a malevolent serpent. It was a burning, aching, and crushing sensation all at once, as if her brain was being squeezed in a vice, compressed to the point of implosion. The pressure was building, building, and building until she thought her skull would shatter like fragile glass. Every thought, every movement, every breath was a fresh spark of pain, igniting a firestorm of anguish that ravaged her mind. It was a never-ending, merciless onslaught, leaving her gasping for air, pleading for mercy, and begging for release. Then, above all, her sudden appearance in her sitting room worsened all. Her mind raced, she searched her bag for the recorder and turned it on, the only thing she heard was the rustling of leaves, shuffling of footsteps and the trickling sounds of water fountain So strange! " No, no way, this wasn't a dream. " She stared at her computer system glaring at the one with the fashioned umbrella. her eyes blazing at the unique embroidery. She knew something was wrong, something was amiss, something was strange. And she needed to act fast. She needed to do something...? 🙄
