Episode 7 - Its her, our mate Axels POV

I had convinced Jake and Luca to stay in my room until closer to midnight, we would go down, show face amd leave, I was sick of going to these things and not finding her, my mate, my one true love, this year I was giving up, I was not going to put myself or luca through anymore, luca already found his mate shortly after his 18th birthday, she never really loved him the day of their mating ceremony, she declared that she loved me and she rejected Luca infront of his freinds and family he was so heart broken, when I didnt want her she tried to get back with Luca but he learned he was worth so much more than just second best, she was killed a year after in a rogue attack, so Luca was never looking for another mate he only came with me so I wouldn't be on my own, its was too much pressure for me and both of us are getting sick of me always going away with no mate, all I had in my head was everyone telling me "your an alpha now you need a luna to make your pack strong" I was sick of trying, for the last 6 years I have been going to these silly mating balls and not found her, I don't think I ever will,

diesel 'don't be like that axe you will find her'

diesel is my wolf he's an all black wolf and is bigger than and average alpha. jake, me and luca had gone for a run instead or going to the mating ball, we ran for a little while and started to come back as we reached the border of scarlets house, we shifted back and got our suits on that we hide under a bush,

it was nearlly midnight, Jake took us up the servents stairway so we could make and entrance, we got to the 1st floor at the top of the stairs as we walked down the whole of the room fell silent, we walked down the rest of the stairs and mingled in with everyone in the room, we each grabbed a champagne flute, girls were throwing themselves at us, all of a sudden I was hit by the most sensational smell of lavender and chamomile mixed with a hint of chocolate,

diesel "MATE!" the clock bell was chiming to sag it was midnight, Luca grabbed my arm,

luca "axe mate I can smell her, my second chance mate, this should never have happend I can't let her go"

me "thats amazing mate, my mate is here I can smell her, I havnt seen her yet, the crowd suddenly parted, I found the most beautiful set of eyes looking at me,

me and Luca "MATE!"

we both shouted at the same time, how could we both share her, she was both of our mate, my head was spinning, I turned to look at Luca he looked at me, when we turned back to look at her again she had disappeared, where did she go,

me "we found her luca, she's your second chance and my mate"

Luca "yeah I've never known this happen before two brother but from different blood lines, how can this be?"

me "we need to find her, she's not in the hall anymore let's go outside see if she is there,"

we grabbed hold of Jake and walked out of the hall, down the front steps,

Luca sniffed the air "she's not here she is outside... maybe the lake"

me "come on let's go find her" we walked round the side of the house, as we turned the corner to reach the back garden, there she was she looked like and angel, walking across the grass, towards the lake, her scent had been caught by the wind, and hit me and Luca like a brick, there it was that scent again, lavender, camomile with a hint of chocolate so sweet and calming, luca walked up to me, he smelt her too, we looked at each other "MATE!!" we whisper yelled at each other we were both her mate diesel and onyx wernt fighting to the death neither were me or luca, we felt happy and complete, I felt pride and brotherly love for luca, we had been best freinds and brothers since my parents brought him home, his family were killed in a rogue incident when he was born my parents found him and adopted him, he's an amazing brother and I would be honoured to share mate with him, or should I say our mate, we looked back in her direction, a male was approaching her, he had surfaced from the bushes further down from where we were, we both growled, we felt her uneasiness, she needed help, he grabbed her we jumped over the wall and walked slowly over to her, she hadnt seen us, we heard her whole conversation,

"there you are my delectable little flower, does Scarlet know your here as the belle of the ball" he said

she ignored him and began to walk away when he grabbed her arm, we both wanted to rip his arms from his body where he stood but we couldn't it would begin a war with who we didn't know but that was something we wernt about to start, we calmed listened again,

"come little flower is that anyway to greet me, your future husband and mate" he said future husband was he being serious over our dead bodies would he be her husband, how dare he say she was her husband, she is ours not his, noome else will have her

"take your hand off me now, before I do something I regret" he laughed at her but wow she was strong,

"you will never be my husband or mate, I would rather die than have you touch me, you make my skin crawl" my god I was so proud of how she handled herself even if it was laughed at he was being an arrogant son of a b***h and I wanted to tear him limb from.limb how dare he treat her this way,

"feisty I see?! I like a woman that is feisty take longer for me to break them in" he said

"let go of me now" she said

she hated whoever he was and we wernt too keen, we wanted to rip his throat out from the moment he touched her, for now and for her we stayed calm, I couldn't let him be with her any longer

"I believe this gorgeous creature asked you to let her go" I said as I walked behind her, she never looked back but I could feel her demeanour relax,

the male finally let her go after he took one last look at us both luca walked around the other side of our mate

"I believe you are right brother" he said as he faced the unknown male "the lady asked you to leave her alone"

the unknown male nodded his head and walked away towards the house, she turned to see who we were my god if I was killed at that moment I knew i would have died a happy wolf she was stunning, long brown curly hair, kissable lips, and eyes you could get lost in, her breasts were round and perfect, a little thin but curves in all the right places but wait... that necklace... I linked luca 'luca did you see its her, its leesh she's wearing the necklace we gave her after all these years' I said

'I seen bro she's stunning, she's our mate ... but why can't she sense us' he asked me

'im not sure we will ask her' I said

Jake walked over to us, we were all staring at each other

"is this her? is this your mate?" he said how could he not recognise her,

"yeah it is, but Jake I do believe you know this beautiful woman," I said while staring at her I couldn't take my eyes of her, she couldn't stop looking at us either,

"no I don't" he said, he looked at her, she took her mask off the moonlight shone on her face the light from the moon highlighting her features, words couldn't describe how beautiful she looked her eyes sparkled and her smile wow, I was mesmerised by her,

"seriously Jake how long have we known each other" she said

"LEESH! OH WOW YOU LOOK... WOW" jake said a little embarrassed

"thanks jake but your not forgiven for not knowing who I am" she said I smiled at her being so honest

"wait Axel? Luca is Leesh your mate?" he asked us both

"yeah she is but my question is how is it we can sense her but she can't sense us?" i said as I looked at her

"because I am not 18 yet for another 3 week ...Well...ish" she said that made so much sense,

"so why were you at this ball? underage unmated partners are not allowed" luca asked

"i know I'm not supposed to be here but Anna, Whitney and Emily brought me they thought I needed a treat, I had no idea you would find me" she said softly

i was as staring at her for a little while I never spoke, i had to say something,

"are you ok? does he bother you alot?" I asked her

"more than I like but I can handle him" she said

she smiled at us both to reassure us she was ok but it didn't work, we could see there was more to this than what she was telling us

"its nice to see you after all these years the last time I seen you both was ..." she said to us both

"the night we came to see you with your necklace" luca finished of her sentence

"look i better get back to Whitney before I get into trouble she will kill me if I leave her there alone maybe see you around at some point ... jakey remember were watching a film on your thingy on my birthday" she said

"yeah I remember it is still 2 weeks away" Jake said

"actually its 18 days away not that im counting then I can leave this place" leesh corrected him

Jake looked sad at first, both me and luca couldn't help but feel sad at why she was so happy to leave,

"come on jakey you know why, I wont be that far away though so you can come and visit me" she said

"I know it just won't be the same without" jake said I turn my head to axel and luca

"it was nice to see you both again" she said

"we will head back in with you" I said I didnt want to leave her I would do anything to just stay by her side now I found her,

"oh ok sure" she said unsure and a little uncomfortable,

she placed her mask back on and we headed back into the hall, just before we got to the door, she took hold of my arm as she placed her left shoe on her foot, electricity shot through my body I couldn't get enough of her I wanted to much to be alone with her, she let go I was sad she let go, she swapped and touch Luca's forearm while she put the other shoe on, Luca looked right at me he stared and couldn't stop smiling he felt the same as me, she smiled at both of us, "thank you" she said

we walked back in and everyone in the room turned to look at us, leesh quickly walked away, back to Whitney,

Whitney and her were talking,

she grabbed a champagne flute from the tray a waiter was carrying and downed the full glass, wow what a woman,

as me and Luca walked over to her, two she wolfs got up from their table, walked towards us, tammy, tall, blonde, blue eyes and a player she wolf, hooked herself on to my arm but i ignored her my focus was all on leesh she was staring at me amd luca we wanted her so much and we knew deep down she wanted us to, I moved from Tammy's embrace and walked away, Luca was always more polite than me,

Tammy's right hand b***h Monica, olive skin, red hair latched herself on to his arm, he gently removed himself from her,

"I'm very sorry but my mate is sat over there and you are not the one I want,... ever" luca said

both of them pouted and huffed away to another table, Whitney and leesh turned around and sat down at the table, I sat next to her and luca sat next to me

I couldn't help but stare at her,

"what! ... tell me what you have to say?" leesh said

"where are you going after your birthday?" i asked she was a little shocked at me mentioning it but I wanted to know,

"im leaving, my protector and whitney's boyfriend have told me I can stay at theirs until I find somewhere to go or find out what I want to do" she said so calm I couldn't help what came out of my mouth at that point but she needed to know I wasn't taking no for an answer nor was she going anywhere from my sight,

"you will be coming home with us to our pack, you will be our luna of the Blue moon pack" I said her face became determined with a little anger

"oh no I won't, I am nearly rid of this prison I will not go to another to be beaten and tortured" she said I couldn't help but feel a sting as she said it what had really happened to her

I was take back and shocked by what leesh said what had happened here for her to feel like this, "leesh what happened to you?" I asked

she began to tear up I felt so bad asking that and upsetting her but before I could say anything else she got up and ran up the stairs, "did you really have to be male about it all?" Whitney said

I felt so bad, but i need to know, we needed to know about what happend so we could make it better for her,

"Whitney what happend to her?" I asked her

"it's not my place to say, but doing what you just did is not the way to go about it especially with leesh" Whitney said

Whitney was right what an i***t I had been she deserved so much more than me talking to her like that all I could hope now was that she would still speak to me after this...
