My heart thundered as I moved towards the door. I had a sea of thoughts in my head .
My mind rushed to all the times I had been with Ham. I swear there was not a period I would doubt his care for me .
Since I didn't have a family, Ham and his family were always the people who cared for me. They loved me conditionally and that way I was able to live peacefully to some extent.
