Chapter three

It’s been two days since i found Daria. Her injuries are really bad. From broken ribs to fractured bones. I honestly don’t know how she survived all that. She’s definitely a strong woman. I haven’t left her side at all. I have her in one of the private rooms we have in the hospital. Only doctor Greene is allowed to touch her. She also the only one in this building that knows she’s my mate. Her body is healing little by little.

It does take time for humans to heal. We still haven’t heard anything about her foster family looking for her or anything. Which i find weird because last i checked. They were sending Jim and Peter to look for her. I already have Dylan looking into all of that. Tyler on the other hand hasn’t left the door. He’s been parked right in front of the door since we brought her here.

He’s been feeling insecure. I really need him to kick his funk to the side. I need him at the top of his game. If he plans to protect my luna. I haven’t spoken to him about it yet. I know he feels bad enough.

I sit back on the chairs and get back to work. I’ve bee working from her room. I don’t want to leave. Neither does Max. He’s hell bent on protecting his mate from here on out. I don’t have any rejections either. So we sit here and work and wait. Until. Our mate wakes up.

Henrys pov

It’s been three days since that b***h ran away. Peter and Jim have looked for her. At all the places she ran away too before. Still haven’t located her. I sit in the house upset. Today my mother had to go around town. Putting up missing posters of her. Acting like a concerned parent.

We both know that’s not the case here. I wait in the living area or Rachel to get here. I need to release some of this stress. She’s going to help me do it. If she’s lucky i won’t kill her when I’m done. I just had her around for show. Besides she’s the one watching Daria for me when I’m not around. Thats why i sent Daria to that school. Daemon pov

It’s day four. My mate still hasn’t woken up. The doctor has checked her multiple times already. Everything is going good. My mate just needs rest. So I let her rest. I want her to be well when she gets up. Today is the first time I leave her. That’s only because I have a very important meeting. If this meeting goes right. Not only would we have a new ally. The income of the pack will triple.

Alpha Jackson of the Midnight moon pack. Is coming here today in hopes of us doing his new pack house and hotel for the humans. He’s a new alpha just like me. He’s learning how to expand. Which is something we both have in common right now.

I have my mom staying with Daria while I go. Kimmy is busy today with her preparations. So I didn’t want to bother her. So I asked my mother and she gladly accepts. I’ll be back in two hours mom. Not at all. Stay close to her and link me if anything happens. I’ll be back as soon as I can. I make my way towards the pack house. It’s literally in the center of out community. While homes and schools and everything else surround it. From a Birds Eye out community is shaped like a star kind of.

I like to think we are unique because of it. I head inside the house. Straight to the back where my office is. I link Dylan to let home know. Tyler won’t be joining us. I left him with the Luna. Please bring out guest in the office once they arrive. Yes alpha will do.

I start preparing myself. I turn on my computer. Pull out the contract that I’ve working on for them. I pour myself a drink from my mini bar. I can really use it right now. So far this weekend has started off crazy. I just needed it. About fifteen minutes later. I hear a knock on the door. Come in!

Alpha I have alpha Jackson here of the midnight moon pack. With his Luna Megan and beta Chris. Please come in. I stand up and walk around my desk. Welcome all of you I’m glad you can make it. We shake hands and i motion for them to have a seat.

Alpha Daemon thank you for receiving us today. I would like for ur to talk about more than just the construction today. If you don’t mind. That’s great I’d like that as well. Before we get down to business. Would anyone like something to drink or eat. I know you guys had a long journey over here. I also have lunch being prepared for after we are done here.

We’re fine for right now. Thank you for asking. Great than let’s get down to business. We start going over the contract. For the new pack house he wants me to build and the hotel. Everything goes in order so to say. I show him blueprints that I drew up. Showing him my ideas. Him and his Luna really seemed to love it. She was very excited about decorating a new house.

After going over all the construction details. Jackson starts talking to me about becoming allies. We work out a deal on what works with us best. After we discuss it I let him know I’ll draw up the contract. So that we both may sign it. I show them to the back of the house. That’s where we’ll be having our lunch. It’s a nice day today.

When we step outside. The food is already place on the table. Nice pool you got there alpha. How deep is it? Thank you Chris and I believe it goes up to 12 feet. Towards the end of it. Alpha Jackson doesn’t have a pack as big as mine. But it’s growing now which is why he wants a new pack house. I also learned that he just found Megan a month ago. They’ve been inseparable. It’s a nice story to hear. I hope one day me and Daria can be like that.

We finish eating. Mary is already collecting all the dishes. While she does that. I mind link Lucy to come and show the guest the rooms. They’ll be staying over night. So that they can be well rested for their journey back home. I see her walking to us. Then she stops. I hear a growl from behind me. When I turn I see that it’s Chris. Mate! He growls. Well it’s looks like your beta just found his mate. He runs to Lucy I’m racing her immediately. The turns and introduces her to his alpha and luna. Congratulations Lucy I’m very happy for you.
