Finding Love

Chapter five

I wake up the next day still wrapped in Daemons arms. It’s feels so right. Like if I was meant to be here. Than I thin about my dream the night before. She said I was almost home. Almost to my family. Maybe this is where I’m supposed to be. Or maybe I’m just getting ahead of myself.

Daemon is still asleep as far as I can tell. He’s snoring so lightly it’s hard to tell. I try to get off of him slowly. It doesn’t work though. Daemon opens his eyes as soon as I move. You’re up already love? I shake my head yes. A little embarrassed that I asked him to lay down with me. At least now I do. I didn’t yesterday when I asked him.

Did you have a good sleep? Or did I squish you? I was about to answer him when a knock on the door stops me. The door opens and in walks Dr. Greene. Good morning guys. First off I want to apologizes for not coming back yesterday. I had to wait for one of the results before coming back. I didn’t want to make you wait for just one. It’s okay no worries. I rather hear everything at once anyway.

That’s good to hear darling. So first off almost everything came back good. Except for two things. Now I don’t want your to worry about it because it isn’t something too serious right now. As long as we take care of it now. She’s finished explaining about my iron, and sugar levels. It’s sound weird to hear someone say something is wrong with me. Beside Ms. Gomez.

She gives me permission to leave the hospital. She also makes an appointment for me to come back in two days. Just to see how I’m doing and ask me some questions. I agree to it as long as it means I can get out of here. You’re free to go whenever your ready. Remember come back in two days.

She left out the room leaving Daemon and I alone. I’m happy that I get to go. Than realize I have no where to go. Whats wrong love? You aren’t happy? Yes I am. It’s just I don’t know where to go. Are there hotels near by? Maybe a cheap one. I don’t have much. So I need to make it work. Love you don’t hve to worry about that. I’ve got you. You are more than welcome to come stay with me. I don’t want to burden you anymore. You’ve already done enough for me. If I take any more from you that’s just me taking advantage.

Love it’s not taking advantage of I’m offering it to you, first off. Second how can I protect you if you’re not next to me. That’s the only way i can protect you. So you can just tag with me. I don’t fight it him anymore on it. I just nod my head in agreement. I’ll have kimmy bring you over some clothes. So we can walk to the house. He gets off the bed and walk to the bathroom.

When he comes out he helps me in. I use the bathroom and brush my teeth. When I come out Daemon is waiting with clothes in his hands. Kimmy had a friend bring it for you. She was busy at the moment. I walk back slowly to him. Taking the clothes from his hands. When i open it up to see. It’s a pair of sweats with a white shirt. She also sent me brand new pair of underwear and b*a as well.

I honestly don’t know if I can dress myself. The pains I get every time I move my body. It’s excruciating just to move an inch. I can help you if you want. I promise I won’t look. I would like that very much. Besides you’ve already seen me at my worst. He doesn’t at anything to me. He just grabs the clothes and passes it to me. He turns around and lets me put on my underwear.

I struggle bending down to get my legs through. Pulling it up was even harder. He turns around and faces me again. He tries to pass me the b*a. I push his hand away not have the energy to try and put it on. He notices that and starts opening the shirt. For me to put my arms in. I hold the gown on my breast. Trying to cover as much as possible. While i muster up the strength to lift my arms.

Daemon doesn’t let me struggle any longer. He starts moving the shirt around to where I don’t have to move. He goes for the sweats after. He does all the work with sweats. Puts on socks on my feet with slippers. He puts a sweater on me than zips it up. Are you ready to go love? Sure I don’t know where we’re going but sure.

He grabs my hand in his and turns to open the door. We start walking towards the elevator. It’s pretty early in the morning. So there’s hardly people out. The people who you see out are mostly working. He explains to me while we go down. It wasn’t a long ride. We were only on the third floor.

When we get out there’s a nurse with a wheel chair waiting. I didn’t think you had enough strength to walk. I don’t want to pressure you to use the chair. It’s only if you want too? I take the seat because honestly. Just the walk to the elevator was a challenge. Daemon starts strolling to the doors. When you feel better I’ll take you on a tour of the community. Until I thinks it’s best for you to rest and heal. Unless you’re feeling better.

We finally reach the outside and the sun feels great on my skin. I lift my head and close my eyes. It’s been a while since I’ve been outside. Hello there. I look up to see another guy standing in front of me. He tall and built just like Daemon. Well almost like Daemon. He has blond hair and light green eyes. Kind of cute honestly.

I’m sorry if I scared you. My name is Tyler. I’m one of Daemons best friends. It’s nice to meet you and see you up. Thank you, it’s nice to meet to as well. Daemon starts walking again. Tyler is right beside him. So Daria just to fill you in. Tyler lives in the house as well. It will make more sense when you see it. It’s no ordinary house.

Okay.. I say. Now I’m just wondering what I’ve gotten myself into. I sit back in the wheel chair and look around. These little houses look so cute. There’s so many building around. When I finally looked straight ahead. I see the big house he was talking about. I can see the pool on the back from where we’re walking from. It’s so amazing and beautiful. I can’t believe I’m going to be living there. For a little while at least.

Daria for now I’ll take you straight up to the room. Than I guess when your body feels a little stronger. I can show you around the house. That sounds fine. We walk in the house. It’s so huge, we walk to the stairs. Daria I’m going to have to carry you from here. We don’t have an elevator and I don’t want you to stress walking up. He bends down in front of me. I wrap my arms around his neck. The tingles come back as soon as I do.

He picks me up with ease. Walking up the stairs. He walks to the last floor than walks to the left. On every floor looks the same. Except this one we on. He opens the door on the left. He puts me down in front of him. So we have two bedrooms up here. One your one mine. We also have a kitchen up here. So you don’t have to worry about going down. If you get hungry. You’ll be in the room. I’ll be in the first. Now there’s also a bathroom out here. But you have one in your room. So you don’t have to come out to use it or shower.

I try to walk taking slow steps. It’s hurts like hell so I don’t even try to walk anymore. Let me help you to your room. He grabs me by my forearm walking me slowly to the room. We get to the room and I’m in complete awe. I can’t believe I get to sleep in a room like this. There’s white carpet on the floor. The bed is California sized and window is wall sized. It’s looks so amazing. I can’t wait to tour the house properly.

He pulls the comforter back making space for me. He turns me around and picks me up. Placing me on the bed. Like it’s nothing. You lay down and get some rest love. I’ll find you some breakfast to eat. The remote is right here you can watch whatever you like. Are you going to leave me here alone? Not for long love I’m just going to get you something. Don’t forget to get yourself something too. It can’t just be me eating.

He chuckles as he walks out the room. Leaving me alone with the tv. I start flipping through the channels. I don’t really know about anything to watch. I’ve never had a tv before the hospital room. I lay back on the bed. Leaving the tv on a movie called the GodFather. It seems like an old movies but interesting. I love that it’s about mobster stuff.

I was so into the movie. It was the smell off food that caught my attention. Looks like I brought the right kind of food. For this movie your watching. It matches perfectly. I look to see Daemon with two big pizzas in his hands. I can tell that you liked it before. So I made sure to get you some more. That’s perfectly okay with me. I say to him as his places the pizza in front of me.

I open the box and see the marvelous pepperoni all over. It looks so amazing that I feel drool forming in my mouth. I wipe my mouth before any of my drool falls put. I don’t want Daemon to see that. It would be embarrassing.

He sits on the bed and we start to eat. As we watch the movie and eat I couldn’t help but think. How am I so comfortable here? We finish eating and Daemon cleans up our little mess. Take a nap love. I’ll be out there if you need me okay. I nod my head on response and fall back to sleep. I guess my morning really tired me out.

It’s been two days since Daemon brought me to his home. My body feels so much better. I’ve been in this place for only nine days. Yet this place has made me feel more welcomed than any other place I’ve been too. In my whole entire life.

I’m up and ready to start my day. First to the doctor just for a check up. Than Daemon promised to show me around today. As long as my body can handle the walking. Once I get tired he said that’s it. I look at myself in the mirror. Kimmy has been lending me clothes since I got here. I feel really bad about. She says it’s fine. It’s like sharing with a sister she wished she had.

I appreciate that she thinks of me as her sister. I have the same feeling for her. In this short amount of time I’ve learned to love her. Even though we’re still getting to know each other. I make my way to the living area. Daemon is there waiting for me.

I stop when I see him. He’s so breath taking. All he has on is a pair of black jeans with a white polo shirt. So casual yet so breath taking. You can see all his muscle through the shirt. He looks amazing. Hey there love, ready to go? I shake my head yes and finish walking to him. Glad he didn’t catch the moment where I was staring at him.

He grabs my hand and we walk out. We head downstairs and out the door. Heading towards the hospital. It wasn’t a long walk either. Just a little Down the road. There’s not many people out this morning. The few that are seem to be staring at us. Don’t mind it they’re just not use to seeing me with someone.

I find that hard to believe. I say to myself. He’s too gorgeous of a man to not have been with a woman. We get to the hospital and walk in. We walk straight to the desk. The girl bows when she sees Daemon. Dr. Greene is aspecting us. The girl is very pretty. Blond hair blue eyes and her body is fit. She looks curved in all the right places. I don’t know for sure. There is a big desk in front of here. Plus she’s sitting down.

She makes a call than hangs up. You can go up now. She’s waiting for you. We go upstairs to he second floor. Dr. Greene is waiting for us outside a room. She’s bows once she sees Daemon again. This time I know I saw it. What’s with the Boeing? Good morning Daemon and Daria. Please come in and have a seat. We both walk inside behind the doctor. Taking a seat in the two chairs in the room. It’s a big room to be honest. I’ve never really been to the doctors before. Just a lot of school nurse visits and mandatory appointments.

So Daria please tell me how have you been feeling? I’ve been okay. My body still feels sore every time I move. Other than that I’ve been okay. That’s great to hear. So today I just want to do a routine check up. Check your vitals and what not. I’d like to redo the blood test again. Just to make sure everything is going smoothly on the inside as well. Does that sound okay to you?

That’s sounds fine with me. Please if you can just take a seat for me. On the bed here I want to check your breathing first. I let go of Daemon hand. I didn’t even realize that I had it in mine the whole time. I already miss having a connection with him. What is wrong with me? I sit on the bed and the doctor puts on some gloves. She checks my breathing, ears, throat. Than I lay down so she can check my stomach.

She asks me some questions. Like if it hurts when she touches me. Or if I eat or drink. Have I been using the bathroom. I felt a little embarrassed with that one, but still answered her. She excuses herself for a minute. Going to get the tools that she’s needs. Daria can I ask you something? At this point Daemon. You can ask me anything. You literally in my personal space right now. So I don’t see why not.

Do you want to celebrate your birthday this year? The question through me off guard. I forgot my birthday was even coming up. Now he’s asking if I want to celebrate. Is this man crazy? He doesn’t even know me and has already done so much. I can’t get use to having someone there for me. Knowing that soon I’ll be taken away again. It’s just going to hurt even more.

I decide to answer him with the truth. The truth is always better I think. I’m sorry but no. I rather not. I never celebrate it and I honestly don’t want to start now. He face has a look of disappointment on it. Like if I just shut down his hopes and dreams. I respect that. Though I think that maybe you should give it a try. Your not in the Same place your were before. Maybe it will be better this time.

I don’t know I’ve never and I mean never . Have had a decent birthday. I just don’t see the point in trying. The door opens and in comes Dr. Greene. With a small tray in her hand once again. This time it won’t be as many tubes. Since the other test came back fine. I’m just going to redo three. I stick out my arm letting her know I was ready. Before she started Daemons cell phone started to ring. I’m sorry ladies I’ll step out. He walks out leaving me alone with the doctor.

After she finishes she puts a band aid on me. Okay I’ll make you an appointment for a week. Just for another routine. I just want to make sure you heal properly. Thank you I appreciate it. Is there anything you need or will like to ask. Before you go. Well now that you mention it. I’ve never been on birth control. Maybe I should start now that I am getting the health care that I need.

That’s a great idea and I can help you with that. Have you thought about which one you would like. Or do we need to go over them? I have actually. I think I should do the shot. It’s the best option for me I think. Okay great. Let me put in the order than go get it. Give me about five minutes. She’s walks out the room leaving me alone. Daemon still hasn’t come back into the room.

I swing my legs back and forth. Waiting for one of them a to come back in the room. I look around the room. Than out the big window they have it in. It’s so sunny out. It looks like a beautiful day. I haven’t really been out and just enjoyed the sun. Now all I can think about is the waterfall.

It would be nice to swim around all day. Just enjoyIng the sun. The door opens and in come Dr. Greene. With her small little tray again. Okay darling one little shot in the arm. Than you’re good to go. She cleans my arm give me the shot. Puts a bandaid and cleans up. Ill see you in one week okay. She leaves me and walks out the room.

I get up from the bed feeling a little dizzy. Not that much though. I walk out and find Daemon is standing by the door. All done and ready to go love? Yes, what should we do first? Well I figured we can eat breakfast in the back of the pack house. I’ve had Mary preparing things for us. If you would like?

Sure I have no problem with that. He grabs my hand again and we walk back. When we get to the back of the house. I see kimmy and the guy from in front of the hospital. Hey you guys finally made it! Took you long enough! Kimmy says as she walks to us. Taking me away from Daemon. Sit next to me while we eat Daria. Daemon gets you all the time. He has to learn how to share.

I laugh at kimmys comment. We sit down on the patio in the back. They have an umbrella right in the middle of the table. So the sun is not burning us completely. On the table used a bowl of fruit salad. Everyone has a bowl a salad right in front of them. I can see shredded carrots and r****h. There’s also spinach and chicken as far as I can tell. There’s a lot in it just for a salad. I can see there’s little bowls with different kinds of dressing on the sides. With a pitcher of ice tea in the middle of the table. Four glasses of ice surround it.

We all start to eat. Kimmy is talking about buying a dress for something coming up. All of a sudden Daemons and Tyler stand up. They practically knock the whole table over. I look up at Daemon. I swear I saw his eyes change to black. Kimmy get Daria out of here NOW! Kimmy grabs me by the arm but that’s when I see it coming from the trees. It’s a wolf. Then two more come out from the other side.

I stand there in shock of what I’m seeing. Why would wolves want to attack people. I look at the first wolf that came out the trees. He’s pretty big and brown. I swear he knew that I was looking at him. We locked eyes for a moment. I felt like I knew those eyes. The wolf starts to run straight for us. That when Tyler starts to run. As he’s running towards the wolves he’s taking off his clothes. He stops halfway to the other wolves completely n***d now.

His necks snaps to the side. In a quick motion. As does his other body parts. All of a sudden in the spot that Tyler was just standing at. Was a wolf. A f*****g wolf. Tyler turned into this beautiful grey and black wolf. Than everything went black.
