CHAPTER SEVENTY-ONE

502 Words
Jason yawned, they have been driving in silence for at least thirty minutes now. He was not sleeping or hungry, he was bored. He was not worried though, he would be excited soon enough. He didn't want to think about it because he knew his imagination would be an insult to the real thing. He yawned again and suddenly felt annoyed because he was bound to yawn again. Once he started his series of yawning it was very hard for him to stop. He felt his eyes water and he stretched his hands to them to wipe away the tears before they dripped out, he hated yawning. Aside from the fact that they made his mouth hurt and no matter what happened he would always yawn again after the first one, there was also the fact that it made him cry and the more he yawned the more the tears flowed. "Jason, are you hungry?" Milo asked. "No," Jason said stiffly and the instant he replied he yawned. "What about sleepy? Are you sleepy" He asked again. Jason was in the middle of a yawn so he could not answer and even after the yawn ended he still didn't respond. "What about sleepy, Jason? Are you sleepy?" Milo repeated and Jason knew if he spent another ten minutes in the car with Milo somebody was likely to be strangled. The car came to a stop and Jason let out a sigh of relief as he flew out of the car. It was pretty late but from where the car was parked, they had a clear view of her house and from the looks of things, there was no life in it. He knew this already, the big meeting at the Valak's mansion, she was bound to go for it and it was his plan to infiltrate her house in the cover of darkness. Better to wait inside the house for her and get the jump on her, outside proved to be a little difficult. "T, we need you to remain in the and when I give the signal drive to the front of her house. We need to make our getaway as fast as possible." He said standing beside the driver's door and tapping T's shoulder through the window. "Yes, boss." T returned. "I also need you to be on the lookout, let me know when she arrives or any other suspicious movements in the direction of the house," Jason explained further. "Yes, Boss!" T replied. They have already been through this but Jason was not taking any chances, he rather be over prepared than not prepared at all. "T," he said but this time around he spoke directly to the mic attached to his ears. "Yes, Boss," T replied back and Jason stood to his full height and started walking away. "At the sign of any trouble don't hesitate to let me know and drive to the front of the house, so we can make our getaway," Jason commanded. "Yes, Boss!"
