"This isn't your fault really." Selene found that the way he said 'really' annoyed her to no end. "Unfortunately, it concerns you, so um here we are," Jason announced, his mouth made a smacking sound at the end.
Selene could not comprehend how someone could be saying a lot of words but not essentially saying anything. He had been speaking for quite some time and she still didn't know their plans for her and with her or who the heck they were.
A part of her could not believe that this was happening. To her, it was all a bad dream that she would soon wake up from. It was the only reasonable explanation as to who will dare do this.
