Tired of stalling, Vance immediately stretched out his hand to press on the doorbell. It was so loud, Vance could swear it could be heard miles away but he knew it was only because it was so late and the fact that his nerves were all over the place. He didn't get a reply but immediately noticed the slight shuffling he had heard before knocking had stopped. He knew she was in, aside from the car, he could also smell her presence.
