Chapter 3: Am I harsh?

As some days passed, things started to get more interesting, more people joined the chat talks and apparently Kam was great at setting good vibes among the guild members.

Hattori started to talk a little more to her even on the guild chat where everybody saw their talks and interactions.

Thanks to their late night chats, she learnt more things related to her rally buddy MathLover, he actually loves mathematics, and he is a Math teacher from a private school in California, but he is originally from China, his real name is Xin, but she always calls him Math.

As she is an engineer, she also loves math, so she feels great talking with him, but she has noticed that he usually only talks to her, in just some few occasions to Hattori when they rally with her, but other than that he keeps every time by himself.

She started calling him sweetie and he was ok with that.

She also learned more things about several guild mates.

Another of her guild friends has the nickname Keysato, he is a single 25 year old man from Thailand, and he is the sweetest person on the entire guild. She calls him Sato and also sweeties him every time they talk.

Another guild mate is Manyi, he is a married 30 year old man from India. He is not that chatty, but they have talked several times so far, so at least with her he does, they usually talk on the chat when almost nobody is around, it is pretty late for her but usually is his lunch time. She is not sure what his job is but he travels a lot because of that.

Another guild mate is Cr4sul, he is a single 23 year old man from Indonesia. He is another of Kam’s everyday chatty friends.

And there are more people, the guild has 52 members now, but she has not been able to talk to most of them to actually remember their nicknames, most of them are not chatting, so they do not have an actual interaction.

KindKiller, the guild general, he is not frequently online on the game, she just said hi a couple of times, not an actual conversation took place and she also learnt that his sister is on the guild too, her nickname is SweetDeath, and she is one year younger than his brother, but because of school, they are usually absent.

Hattori’s interactions with Kam got more frequent, inside the game but also on the private chat app.

He also started to ask Kam to rally with him daily, because he knew she can make people join the rallies and to win all of them thanks to the pull she has on several players, and those players are the ones that have bigger might and that are more active in the guild life.

One day Kam and Hattori were discussing in their private chat, about a bad decision the general of their guild took recently.

-He is a kid, what can you expect.

Kam said.

-A kid? What do you mean?

-He is like 14 or 15 years old, he is in high school.

-What? No way?

-Yes way, he told me his real name and his age one time that we were talking, like two weeks ago.

-That makes so much sense now, I just thought he was a little stuped, but I guess he was just uber young then.

-I know, that is how English speaking people write it, but for me, that I speak Spanish as my mother tongue, is weird to write hahaha, because in Spanish the H is silent you know, so it is like laughing

A a a a a, so I don’t like it, the ja is the sound of the ha in Spanish, that’s why

- I see, that is funny though

-Cause that differentiates you from pretty much everybody at the guild

-F uck yeah! Several times happened to me before, in real life, that I just met someone and out of the blue they start telling me their private stuff, it amazes me, and I get like ‘why is he telling me this?’ so maybe it is actually a superpower

Kam returned to the game but there was no one she was friends with, so she logged out and started to watch tv.
