ROSALIE’s POV I stared at them in disbelief. “You’re joking.” “Nope,” Felix answered with an amused grin. “We’re serious,” Adrian replied. “It’s either that or we all call it a night. It’s getting quite late, actually,” Lucian said. Why did it seem like he was purposely taunting me? “…Fine,” I said after a moment of silence. If they insisted on escorting me like overprotective bodyguards, then so be it. I grabbed my purse before heading for the door, hearing the men walk behind me. They were already dressed and didn’t need to change. The only thing I actually appreciated with them tagging along was riding with one of them; at least now I didn’t have to bother with a cab this late. When we arrived at the location, the music was so loud that I felt the bass vibrating through the floor before we even stepped inside the fraternity house. The moment Adrian pushed the front door open, I noticed the way they seemed to capture the attention of most people nearby. Heads turned in surprise, and some even moved aside to make way without being asked. It was as if the entire party silently acknowledged who had just arrived. I swallowed. I knew the Hellbound MC was popular around Mooncrest Pack; I just hadn’t realized they were this influential. I suddenly became painfully aware that I was standing right beside them and honestly wasn’t sure I needed this kind of attention this early into the semester. “Rosalie!” Blair’s voice came, really high pitched so I could hear it over the sound of the music playing. I looked up just as Blair came weaving through the crowd with Arabella behind her. “There you are!” Blair squealed before stopping abruptly. Her eyes traveled from me to the four towering biker alphas behind me. “Oh.” Blair immediately grabbed my hand and pulled me aside. When we’d made a small distance from the quadruplet, she leaned into my ear and asked. “Did you just come in with them? I didn’t know you knew them personally?” “Oh— yeah. They’re my new roommates. You know my brother’s biker club and all!” I waved off. Blair and Arabella widened their eyes, staring at me in shock. “And you didn’t think to mention the fact that you’re living with four sinfully hot men! This is literally the juiciest thing ever!” Blair said while fanning her face. “So like, what’s the deal, are you guys going to f**k? I know I would if I got the chance to room with them,” Blair chuckled. “f**k, no!” I gasped. “How about we just have some drinks and dance? I’m trying to have fun tonight,” I said, trying to change the topic. “Sure, let's get drinks. But um…” Arabella hesitated for a second before continuing. “I’d be careful if I were you.” “What do you mean?” Arabella lowered her voice. “The senior girls here are obsessed with Hellbound MC. They’ve basically claimed those four as theirs.” She discreetly gestured toward several women across the room. I followed her gaze, and sure enough, more than one girl was openly glaring at me. “They probably think you’re competition.” “There isn’t anything going on between us, though.” I frowned. Blair nodded immediately. “Seriously. They’re just helping her because of her brother.” Arabella looked relieved and pulled us both to the makeshift bar in the frat house kitchen to get us some much-needed drinks. Soon after, we returned to the dance floor, and I let myself relax as I swayed my hips to the tune of the music. I felt eyes on me, but ignored them because tonight, I wanted to completely let loose. ADRAIN’s POV My eyes remained completely trained on Rosalie from the moment we entered the frat house. Amateur parties of this kind didn’t interest my brothers or me; we were here only because of Rosalie, to protect her. At least that’s what I’d like to believe. We remained seated, drinks in one hand and our gaze on Rosalie. She looked so carefree as she danced; her body swayed effortlessly with the music. The red dress hugged every curve I’d somehow never noticed before. Frankly, I’d never looked twice in her direction; the image of the malnourished teenager I’d met the first day I saw Levi’s sister was what stuck all these years. But now, the sexy lady dancing seductively was nothing like I’d remembered. Her once-slender body now had full curves that the dress made impossible to ignore. The short length gave room to admire her long, toned legs as she danced in a pair of heels. Fuck, she was beautiful. “When did Levi’s little sister become that hot?” Theodore said. None of us answered, although I’m pretty sure we were all thinking the same thing. Damn, a good majority of the men at the frat house were. Men across the room watched Rosalie as she danced sensually, completely oblivious to the attention of the men she’d captured. Including us. Some i***t across the dance floor started walking towards Rosalie. Without a second thought, I instinctively took one step forward, ready to rip off the bastard before he could touch her. “Sit down,” Felix demanded. I looked over to see him glaring at all three of us. “What?” I grunted. “Stop eye-f*****g her, you three.” Felix snorted. Theodore looked offended. “I wasn’t—” “The hell you weren’t.” Felix interrupted and then pointed toward Rosalie. “Remember who she is.” All three of us fell silent. “She’s Levi’s little sister.” Felix continued. “Now Levi’s dead; that makes her our club’s baby princess. Our responsibility is to take care of, not lust over.” He folded his arms, giving us a warning look. Felix, the youngest among us, being the one to pull us out of our dirty desires, was enough of a wake-up call. “She’s forbidden.” He stressed. Lucian leaned back first. “…Right.” “Yeah.” Theodore rubbed the back of his neck. I forced myself to look away from Rosalie. Felix was right. Whatever this strange jealousy was, it had to stop. Rosalie wasn’t just any woman. Most importantly, not one we should dare desire.
