The scoff that escaped Aerly's lips she made obviously. It was amusing that Niko assumed she would follow suit but he clearly didn't realise that she followed no one they could come in with their power trip of being purebloods but that certainly didn't mean Aerly would fall in line even if their soon to be alpha was her mate. Aerly stood in place as her silver eyes watch Niko begin to walk he was a tall man, clearly strong with his lean masculine figure he was small in comparison to Raiden but that is only to be expected. Aerly simply watched on as he continued to walk he had clearly expected her to blindly follow but she simply shook her head. Aerly had other things to do today rather than following around some man who no doubt from his arrogant strides would simply bore her and attempt to push her towards his Alpha so instead, she simply walked away. Aerly had warriors to help train and if Raiden was telling the truth about the Lycans she had to train them the best she could. It wasn't until she was halfway across the clearing almost in near her cottage that he seemed to notice she was gone. "Where are you going?!" Niko shouted after her but Aerly didn't even bother turning back. She couldn't deny Raiden had wavered her emotions last night but he wasn't here now so the confliction was gone and she was back to herself. "I don't know what you want to speak about but I simply have no interest. If you will excuse me I have warriors to train" she shouted back continuing on her path. —- "Now I'm sure you are all tired. Today has been tough work for you all. However, we need to be at our best" Aerly had spent the last few hours working the warriors hard, harder than Mitchel's liking but Aerly didn't care nor did she care for his rules on training. She wanted everyone to be prepared and survive under any threat. "As you all know we were visited by pure blood's yesterday with a warning that we could be under threat" murmurs and whispers were quick to go about the group "if the Sanctuary is under threat we must be prepared to defend it, fight for it, die for it. Perhaps other wolves don't understand what we do here and the Lycans frown upon us but that doesn't stop us. These wolves came here for us to protect them, keep them safe from threat and that is exactly what we will do. Do I make myself clear?" her voice was dripping with authority. It practically radiated off of her like a second skin and everyone was quick to lower their heads in submission "now for our final task, hand to hand combat so who is up for the task?" Aerly questioned but no one seemed to dare respond. They all remained in silence standing around as the silver eyes narrowed and searched the crowd. "Me!" the voice made everyone turn seeing Niko emerge from the tree line his arms folded across his chest full of confidence. "This is training for the warriors of this Sanctuary" Aerly snapped at the man. "Are you scared you can't take me?" the question was quick to anger Aerly she wasn't one to be challenged. "You want to test me, beta? Then fine. Welcome to our training lesson" a bitter tone dripping from her lips. "Happy to join Alpha" he smirked which only gained a growl in response.  Aerly stood in a clearing only a few feet from the warriors. Her hands resting on her hips as she waited for Niko to approach which he did leisurely. "I will go easy on you, after all, I'm a Lycan and well..." Niko eyed the girl from head to toe "you're a she-wolf." "Is that so?" a singular eyebrow raised as she watched him approach "well I suppose we will see."  It was only a matter of seconds before they began. Niko had some expertise in the field and Aerly couldn't help but appreciate having a strong opponent. Niko's advancement was quick swinging a fast right hook which Aerly easily ducked but came in contact with the left hook catching her jaw. It caught Aerly off guard but she was quick to recover, more fists flying in both directions until Aerly had enough raising her leg and kicking him in the stomach forcing him to stubble back where she easily gained the upper hand, a jab to the kidneys caused him to wince, while another swing to his nose caused it to gush blood but Niko wasn't finished when he finally blocked her tiny but mighty fist then punching her straight in the chest leaving her to gasp for breath and giving Niko enough time to knock her to the ground and pin her, one arm twisted behind her back while the other above her head, Aerly letting out a growl while her face was pressed into the dirt. "Maybe we can talk now huh?" Niko leaned down practically whispering in her ear. "How would your soon to be Alpha like you touching his mate?" she hissed. "Oh you're admitting your his mate now?" Niko mocked but Aerly wasn't focused on his words she was just giving ammunition to gain his attention as she let her nails elongate then stabbing them into his hands the pain of it caused his grip to loosen and Aerly immediately jumping into action knocking the young dark-haired male off of her and onto his arse. Aerly moved quickly she tackled him to the ground her fists relentless as they pounded into his face in repeat, Niko attempted to knock the silver eyes she-wolf off of him but to no avail would she budge and he was forced to take the brutal beating. "That's enough Aerly!" the sound of her father's voice caught her attention than she simply gave a nod and got to her feet. "See why no one wanted to challenge her, Pureblood?" Will chuckled as Aerly extended her hand to help Niko up which he took giving the girl a smile. The dirt and blood remained staining their skin and clothes but the wounds they had gathered from the fight were already healing "my Aerly is a very tough opponent" he spoke with pride. Niko's eyes analysed the girl slowly before nodding in agreement "indeed, she is quite the opponent."
