Sudden darkness overcame his being as he stared at the girl attempting to find her footing "no" he grumbled out. The poor girls looked up suddenly at his words seeming to hit her harshly causing her mouth to gap open.
"Bu—" She went to speak.
"Niko" Aerly spoke firmly his name falling harshly from her lips while she kept him under a cold gaze but his eyes were still glued on the little pixie-like woman in front of them.
"I said no" he repeated sounding more childish than anything before going to walk off.
"Niko" Aerly grabbed his bicep roughly before whispering "you can't just reject her."
"Like you did?" He countered.
"I never rejected Raiden. I'm here aren't I. You're mate needs you" She was whispering but her words were far from gently spoken.
"She is not my mate, Aerly" he growl
